Glad to see the old Reimer back. He is way better than the Monster and hopefully now the coach now realizes this.

Is it me or does it sometimes look like the Leafs are trying to lose? Open nets and they are going for the pass?
It was 1 f*#^*@g game. He sucked in the previous game. Let him play 5 or 6 consistent games, then maybe crown him!

Your right and let me add to it . Let him play in a meaningful game and show that stuff cause during the losing streak when there was hope he didn't preform like that .

Don't sugar coat it Ironead, tell us how ou erally feel! ;)

Do you really think they can win two in a row?
Well they have done it before. I hope they win because Boston is the next game.

Seriously they need to go on a penguin type win streak. At least 10 games.
Ten in a row ! Ten in a row ! I just want to win the next game ! Ten in a row.

Leafs win ..........again.

I thought they were lucky. Nothing about their play caused me to sit up and say WOW 1 0r 2 more players and Leafs will be competitive. Reimer got the win but looked shaky. Ottawa playing the night before did not hurt the Leaf's cause. Burke, you got problems!!!!!!!!

Leafs got the job done and won the game. It was a must win for their life-support playoff hopes.
Kessel scores his 35th. Would love to see him get 40. Ten games remain.
I did not think Reimer was/looked shaky, may not have been his best game I will admit. Two shutouts lost in around the final minute. DAMN !
Connolly scores on a lazer beam. lol. Did he really even touch it ? I guess he did.

The MacArthur / Gonchar .... misunderstanding was comical.
Schenn / Foligno was a draw, maybe slight edge to Foli.
Good to see the referees did not let Capt Clown get away with a vicious slash.
Spezza clear as day kicked the puck in.

As a Reimer supporter that is what has been most frustrating. He puts together a few good games and you think he is out of the ruts, then he will have a few bad starts and everyone is all over him again. As a manager/GM, you are in a no win situation...good thing he is signed through a few more years cause if it is contract year, what do you do? Give up on the guy and watch him bite you by turning into a stud or sign him and realize that this is as good as he gets?

The positive? After the game last night when someone commented on him having back to back good games; he himself admitted that it means nothing unless he can do it consistently. I hope he can blossom into a solid starter as I have always liked his attitude and work ethics.

As much as I like Reimer and I want him to be The Guy, a true number one goalie, I think the Leafs, Burke, should go and get another goalie.
Jonathan Bernier in LA comes to mind.

Leafs visit Bruins tonight. Time to step up and play spoiler and/or maybe make a run at the playoffs. Take a run at the 15th/16th pick overall.

Hey Guyroch, can you not come up with anything on your own ?
That is the best you can do is copy and paste someone else's words ?

Guyroch ? I find it amusing that everytime somebody slams you . You think it's the same person using a different handles . The fact you can annoy multiple terb members hasn't occured to you .

I really disagree with this statement. Tuuka Rask was the real deal. The leafs chose Pogge who didn't work out and now we are stuck with these goofy Free Agent signings... gotta keep your 'Good' and 'drafted' goalies. most important! we'd probably be in playoff position with Rask.

this leaf team has absolutly 'no heart'. they get down early, and they give it up. i give credit to komasarek for challenging lucic as he got dummied again trying to spark his club. don,t think i heard kessels name all nite. phaneuf, schenn, macarthur, and so many more no where to be found. and tell joe bowen that he can stick that 'reiminister of defence' label that he hung on reimer up his ass.

Miami, you dumbass
FUGLY is the word, only because there is no other word for that kind of loss.
(Haven't heard that term since Grade 7 - well done!)

Playoff drive...my ass.
