The team has been playing a little better in the last 2-3 games but as hard as they tried, the losing streak continues; and if the slide continues for another 8-10 games, I'd expect Burke to be making some drastic moves. Would you agree and would he :

-replace Ron Wilson ?
-trade Kaberle for whatever he can get to help scoring ?
-trade more future picks and/or Schenn for a "top six forward"?

I really don't think he'll just sit and watch as the team slips out of the playoff picture into another lottery pick position again. But what else can he really do ?

He cannot trade Kaberle.
Tomas Kaberle has a No-Trade Contract.
Kaberle has not asked to be traded.
That solves that issue.

If he fires Wilson, who does he replace him with ?

Schenn is highly unlikely to be traded.
His salary is somewhat controllable for the next few years.
More draft picks, unlikely, but possible.

WOW!

TML 1-7-2 in last 10 games has them 13 out of 15 in the conference. TML is back home in the cellar of the NorthEast behind MONTREAL, Ottawa, Boston and Buffalo.

One fan has his spot chosen for June at Yonge & Dundas is there going to be a free concert at the Square?

One fan states how well the Marlies are doing. The Marlies are 9th in their conference whereas the Bulldawgs are 5th (Montreal's AHL team)

One fan talks about how the future is so bright for the TML. Well the future is now! You fans just keep drinking their Kool-Aid and feeding the teacher's pension fund purchasing the overpriced tickets for a sub par product.

Look at how many expansion teams have won the cup, several more than once.

Considering their recent history over the last decade I never thought I would say this, but for the 2010/11 season, I am happy to be a Leafs fan rather then a New Jersey Devils fan.
Leafs roots and allegiances aside, why would you prefer to be a fan of a team that will contend for the worst record in the league and yet not get a top three draft pick as a reward?

Because he is part of the symbiotic relationship.

LEAF FAN (aka sheep) & MLSE (aka wolf). The main difference is that a real sheep would'nt repeatedly feed themselves to a wolf. Leafs fans do.

Leafs win 5-4 after trailing 3-0 in the first.
Bunch of PPs in the second helped the Leafs break out of the slump.

Look out Washington ! lol

This is quite the idiotic statement, what kind of a FAN would i be if i only were a FAN when my team won. Should i not be a FAN when my team loses, then i would not be much of a FAN would i, i would be a bandwagon jumper.

Also Grabovski who has also been hot .. He had zero goals for awhile and now has scored in 4 games in a row .What is more important was solid goaltending tonight .
http://scores.espn.go.com/nhl/players/profile?playerId=3438

On another note 3 goals by Stamkos .. He is Hot 19 goals in 19 games
When your centres play well, the whole team just seem to have a lot of energy and jump. That pass by Kadri for Verteeg's one-timer was awesome.

Leafs win 4-1 over Dallas, their third in four games. These are the teams the Leafs have to defeat if they hope to make the playoffs.
Nieuwendyk, could you leave Richards behind when the Stars leave town ?

On to Buffalo and hoping for a road win.

Sam Kadri (Dad) will be on the fan 590 morning show tommorow ... Again I say ... This is the 4th time I will hear a interview Sam Kadri ... Has any other Toronto Sports figures dad been on the radio so much ??
Maybe Walter Gretzsky but then one of his his sons is "The Great One". Shouldn't Sam wait until his son actually scores an NHL goal before making all these radio apperances?

On another Note ... Brian Burke will no longer do interviews on the Fan 590 ....
Don't blame the station, they're doing it cos they believe that's what the die hard Leafs fans want; and there are millions of those. If you ran the station, wouldn't you be doin the same ? To them, diversity only applies in proportion to the amount if "listeningship" they get from individual sports.

It's not unlike you die hard basketball fans who spend all your time following what Chris Bosh has to say so you can something to rant about. If that's what fans want, the media will just keep feeding.
