Educated as far as schooling and degrees and educated/aware enough to get serious about dating and having a family are quite a different thing. Look up average marrying/child birthing age now in the west and clearly this is a gigantic problem.
It is also (in general) easier for a man to age without children and family than a woman.

The way I see it, I'll appeal to younger women who like older guys because they know they're good in bed and women around my age who may have gone through a divorce or break-up and won't be looking for a commitment, just regular NSA sex.
I did talk about being fuck buddies with a civvie woman a few years back and she had gone through a divorce and wasn't looking for a relationship, basically, she just wanted someone to come over and fuck her once or twice a week.
