Even if you're HOT AF, it's still very hard. Assuming the woman is very interested in communicating with you, that would only happen if she can spot you amongst the 100s of matches she gets. Minimum 100 matches so for a hot 10/10 guy, it's still just a 1% chance of getting selected.

This brings me to other question, how else do you meet girls for dating ? Because a normal human is paired up, so most men have a partner, but where did they meet them.
You can go to the mall or bars. Bars aren't the best option at the moment obviously.

Tinder and Bumble are great, it all depends what you are looking for.

And therein lies my problem with what Tinder has become. The whole point of Tinder was initially hookups, but it's now flooded with desperate people looking for a relationship.
No, that's is what they say to average looking guys such as ourselves and is just a front. They continue to hook-up the top 10% looks-wise and look others for simps. You really believed that?

I suspect the guy that thinks he is a 7 is really a 5 and hence gets a 5 to date. women tend to be harsh in their assessments of themselves and their prospects. Men tend to be really generous about themselves and see their prospects through rose coloured glasses. They would do well to take a good hard look at themselves and get down to work. The first step might be to stop whining about the injustice of the dating world and dump the incel-light talk of how women continually ignore them or screw them over. Get a grip….
With due respect I think the opposite is true with online dating.

Even less attractive women are flooded with likes and messages online and it gives them unrealistic expectations of who they can actually settle down with.

The dopamine/pleasure flood for a woman having hundreds of guys after her is akin to a man being able to see thousands of beautiful women online with no work and the click of a mouse - both will be and already are extremely destructive to social stability long term.

I've never been told "I don't do hookups".

It says "No hookups" on their profiles and I pass them by.

Not really wanting to get too deep into this but I have to say this sounds overdrawn and a bit dramatic. It is true that men tend to lead with their little head and chase relatively unattractive women if there is a chance for NSA sex. Women may, for a while enjoy this on-line attention, but it mustn’t take long for them to realize that 90% of the hookups are going nowhere and they are then ghosted by men they are attracted to. The women that’s are on these sites - that I know - don’t get that much pleasure from them and complain of being inundated by dick picks, inane comments and angry men that feel they are entitled to attention. They are not feeling particularly enpowered although they may enjoy the attention of some of the men they interact with. Regardless, like men, women will have to realistically reorient their aspirations if they seek a long term, in person, relationship that is stable and rewarding. Finally, I fail to see how women obtaining a fleeting moment of social advantage on-line will be destructive to social stability. It, no doubt, will damage male egos when their advances are flat out rejected but that is hardly the stuff of social calamity.

I eluded to some bondage play on my POF profile (long before the big crackdown), and hooked up with 2 women “who weren’t looking for hook ups. Didn’t even get names.

I think women get worried that someone they know will happen across their profiles, and think them whores if they don’t put “no hook ups”.

Also, I am sure there are plenty of meatheads not capable of sending a message more than “wanna fuck?”. Girls try to weed that out as best they can.

I am sure they still hook up…. But in fairness, I have had no success on Tinder since 2016.

Got ghosted today.
One match reached out to me a few days ago, I replied, but she hasn't.

I was very fortunate to not have to use these things. They are soul crushing. The problem with them is defenses are up right away.

Once this is over the best thing is to go places with like minded people. Whether its classes, social events(I had great success at smaller Sci fi conventions, but im a geek at heart), meetups like bike rides.
Usually it takes a bit of time. Its best to show up a few times, and just scope out prospects while not hitting on anyone and just be yourself. A bit of self depreciating humour. And suddenly you are in the "community" and trusted. Then you can hunt.

I see a lot of babes walking around in parks (still in this weather) and Starbucks. I don't know how to approach them. They are smoking beautiful. Toronto has the most beautiful women I've seen, and I've traveled a lot...

Definitely do not approach women in parks. Starbucks, sure, just make a quick quip, joke, or drop a non creepy compliment, like, "Love those sunglasses", and wait to see response/reaction before proceeding with anything more, if she brushes you off, move on, if she engages, strike up small talk.

In my old(er) age I have come to realize, well balanced people with something to offer don't tend to be on dating/hookup sites. They don't need to be.

What does VET mean?

Well said the remarks. Straight to the point and no sales pitch. To bad the 99% don't follow this idea.
Next time, try using dictionary dot com or urbandictionary dot com instead of Google when a word, phrase or acronym with which you are unfamiliar is used in a post. One of those two sources probably has a definition for almost anything people today might say or write.
