The cop shootings in Dallas - What Media didn't cover

Now I get some cops again fucked up, and that's why you have investigations, and hopefully, charges made. But what of the violence against police? Countless videos show it.

BLM is globally on an anti-police agenda. Last weekend in Toronto when stopping pride, one 'demand' was no more police floats.
They are anti-police, becoming anti-white, and becoming increasing violent to the point people were murdered last night for the reason of - race and profession.

Yet still someone like Frank defends this? Peaceful is a Trump rally. Chaos is an Anti-Trump protest or a BLM movement.
Peaceful is a Trump rally? Are you being tongue-in-cheek?

So far little information has been released about the Dallas shooting and there is no doubt a lot of what we know is misinformation. Question: how do YOU know what is truth or not at this point in time? The video you posted was created by Colin Flaherty. Have you looked at any of his other Internet postings or videos? I have no-doubt news sources are biased, but Flaherty is clearly biased in his views, although I admit that doesn't mean he's wrong.

You are stereotyping all members of BLM. That is wrong and dangerous. The examples you provided above are the highly visible actions of 2-3% of the outspoken members and their extremist views ........ just like what happens in any other group. The vast majority of BLM members didn't want the shooting to happen, didn't celebrate the deaths and didn't loot. They just want to raise awareness of a problem, want it solved and seek solidarity/support with like-minded people. Unfortunately if nothing improves those 2-3% are going to grow in number and become more extreme, which sucks for the majority as they become unjustly labeled too.

Maybe this deserves it's own thread, but another officer was just shot in the neck outside St. Louis during a traffic stop; suspect apprehended.
http://wgntv.com/2016/07/08/officer-shot-outside-st-louis-suspect-apprehended/

Authorities are investigating after a police officer was shot during a traffic stop Friday morning in west St. Louis County. It happened shortly before 11 a.m. near the 300 block of New Ballwin Road. According to our partners at the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, the wound was in the neck.

The officer, who works for the Ballwin Police Department, was transported to a local hospital for treatment. His condition is unknown at this time.

The suspect was apprehended a short time later in the 800 block of Burgundy Lane after a foot pursuit. A weapon was recovered.

Police say he is a tall, thin African-American male who was wearing a gray tee-shirt and blue jeans.

Promo, In fairness, I don't think its CM being misleading as much as its the media. As stated above in my post, the media is cautious in what they share.. almost selective in wording.
Further, its not impossible to change a statement, or flat out lie in trying to difuse tensions right now. Ive read similar comments that CM posted, and I have seen conflicting ones too. You said it best, let the facts come in.

But CBC Dallas - Police: Dallas Shooting Suspect Micah Johnson “Wanted To Kill White People” Story

.............
Hi Kathleen, based on my research:
1) The media had nothing to do with what I'm debating with C-M. It was a tweet C-M quoted.
2) C-M's post stated: "The Police Chief said The suspect said he wanted to kill white police officers. He stood with #BLM. He hated Cops." C-M was incorrect, it was Walsh that claimed the Chief said that, and Walsh's quote was wrong.
3) What the Chief said was something different.

The additional information you posted above came out later in time. It's badly written by the news source and doesn't match what other news sources are quoting. I agree with all your points that media is doing a poor job covering this story, some of their reported information is misleading and they are appear biased.

C-M has a bad habit of reposting information he finds on the internet and not verifying the accuracy of the content or evaluating the source. Many of his reposts tend to be extreme views of controversial topics and when you combine this with unreliable sources and often incorrect information .... this is why people call C-M out. At the very least, I wish C-M would add value to his reposts by explaining his point of view on the topic and/or explaining why the Terb community should see value in the content.

As sad as this sounds I am personally not one bit surprised by what has happened again with the killing of innocent black people by LE in the U.S, and really not shocked by the following killing of white police officers in response to it.
Until we all as human beings wake up and start putting divisions from race, ethnicity, and religion aside nothing will change and this vicious cycle will not only continue but will keep on getting more divisive than yesterday.
There are many societal issues in the U.S that needs to be addressed and resolved and unfortunately a lot of people from all corners of the world just want to ignore these issues because they benefit somehow from this divisiveness or are just oblivious to it.
I'll be the first to admit I read and watch all these cops vs Blacks articles. But I also prefer not to get involved in their debacles and sit on the sidelines and watch. I don't benefit one bit from it all..... unless you include my interest in reading articles a personal benefit. I find all these cops vs Blacks, religion vs religion, suicide-murder stuff, and any kind of SJW and political correctness a combo of entertainment, sadness, and silliness. There's so much dumb stuff that goes on, it's hard to imagine how some people can act so illogically. But hey that's life. There's 7 billion people in the world, you're going to get some idiots who can't conform to normal life.... which in the Western world is trying to do well, get a decent job, home/mortgage, afford a car, raise a family and hopefully when you die your family and finances are well enough when you pass on. Then the new generation in the family tree continues on.

Sometimes the best thing to do is focus on your own life and family and not get infused into the battles of others.

People only live so long on Earth (let's say a decent healthy age like 80), and for me I have no time or interest to spend my time alive getting into police/Black squabbles. My family and I have spent enough effort and money over generations to live a decent life of good upbringing, going to school, not doing crime and getting good jobs, homes and families. Just about everyone in my family tree has fit the mold.

If people can't improve themselves, that's their problem. People have enough intuition in life to know how to live life well as opposed to a shitty life style. It all comes down to whether people want to pursue it or not. Some people in life care, some people don't.

Frank, your comment isn't the least funny. The easy way out is claiming a lone shooter acted alone. He had NO connection to BLM, case close, move on ppl.

But seriously, last night is massive, and so much more than one shooter.

- You had hundreds of BLM protestors chanting "kill cops"
- You has media blackout and bias that didn't show Blacks celebrating the deaths of officers or looting while this was happening
- You have a shooter that was only killing exclusively white victims, and he is far from alone in that view, hundreds on view called for the same
- In the wake of what happened, thousands of tweets today praise the shoot, say it was justice, call it an 'eye for an eye'

WTF? Seriously..

1) You can't know the affiliation of the people chanting celebratory things..... protest like that brings out all sorts of people from the woodwork. Much like the G20 in Toronto I think some people just show up to cause shit.
2) You can't assume those celebrating reflect the BLM.
3) I'm sure with a number of the black shootings we could find whites who would say it is a good thing.... let's not pretend otherwise. That's why often when a black man is shot if he has a criminal record people are quick to point it out.
4) Apparently Fox News showed blacks celebrating..... so yet again your claim of major news not covering things to your liking is all in your imagination or lack of googling.

Poverty, cultures of violence, discrimination, a drugged and medicated nation of disgruntled automotons with nothing left to lose. Great Hollywood script for the final thriller........what should we title it???? Pass the popcorn

Video was from 2 years ago. Apparently some group called Million Marchers? Not sure if they are the same as BLM

I assume there no videos of whites being racist and advocating violence?

Bacon, pigs......I see what you did there. But I digest.....we can't afford Bacon money.
Wow that was an unfortunate pun. I was just going with the six degrees of Kevin Bacon joke. I think he's been out of the spotlight long enough that he would work for cheap.

Besides if he can teach a town to not outlaw dancing what can't he do?
