Let’s put it this way:
Neither of us are climate scientists. I am an informed citizen whose views are based upon the work of others who have devoted their lives to to studying the science of climate. You are an aggressively ignorant right wing troll whose views are based on the work of other aggressively ignorant right wing trolls who have devoted their lives to saying incendiary bullshit and trending on social media.

There is no way for someone such as you to engage in a rational debate with someone such as me. I would annihilate you…but you would just keep repeating yourself like some sorta zombie that never dies.

The only way this argument gets settled is through Darwinism in which people like me and my genetic offspring adapt and survive while people like you and your demon spawn are removed from the gene pool…assuming you and your friends have not succeeded in making the planet uninhabitable and killed us all in the mean time.

Academics is a competitive business filled with Type A personalities who are all climbing over one another’s backs for the next funding grant, publication credit, appointment to Department Head, etc.

As such, if you are an ambitious academic/professor, there is literally nothing better than tearing your c̶o̶m̶p̶e̶t̶i̶t̶o̶r̶s̶…errrr…colleagues apart. There is absolutely no group of people more petty and vicious towards one another than academics- to get these people to agree on anything is like herding cats! Thinking that you could get ALL these researchers to ALL participate in a conspiracy across academic institutions, international borders, etc. is laughably ignorant.

The fact that there is a consensus amongst this group of people is an extremely strong indicator that it is true.
