I'm cheering for the team with the most Canadians on it.

Yahhh just like the

Tampa Bay lightning in 2004
Carolina Hurricanes in 2006
Anahiem might ducks in 2007

Yes Lots of Canadians but all for american franchise teams.

I think I'd like to see a Canadian Team win the cup.
It's been how many years now??

a kicked in goal by Afraidson and a few lucky bounces against a superior Anaheim team - Ducks in 5 :D
Agreed, not to mention a cheap penalty with 4 minutes remaining. It might take the Ducks 6 games.

The Sens were lucky last night and the Ducks are clearly the better team. I don't think they can be so lucky 3 more games.

Anaheim is a fantatic home team, there is no way Ottawa wins two games in Anaheim. This series is over. Like I said before this series started, I think a lot of Ottawa fans underestimated how good the Ducks are.

I'm not sure that's a big factor and I'm not seeing anything awesome out of the Ducks - other than MacDonald being even more of a revalation than last year - he completely dominates every shift either by his actions with the puck or his movement without the puck.

But I think this result has been more about Ottawa firing blanks and being spectacularly out of synch even at those times when Aneheim is having a spell of bad shifts.

With their brutal finishing and overwhelmingly broken play, I think the version of the Senators that showed up for this series would be losing against most of the other teams that made the playoffs.

Imagine What Would Have Been....

...if the mighty Senators could win games 3 and 4??? Instead they did not have what it takes to win game 4 to balance the series 2-2. Talk about them on a mission!!! LOL!!! Now staring at elimination in game 5, the mighty Sens is facing the music they administered to the Pens, Devils, and Sabres in the earlier rounds. What goes around comes around!!! Talk about natural justice!!! It will take a miracle for them to win three games in a roll against the mighty Ducks, who have home field advantage on their side.

At least the Sens are down 3-1 in the FINALS. How many other teams would love to be in that position instead of golfing? No shame in being the 2nd best team in the league. Yeah, that would make them somewhat mighty wouldn't it?

True but from a Leaf perspective, they did not win and cannot raise the banner next year when the Leafs are in Ottawa.
So the Sens will not win the cup and will all have high handicaps too.

Seriously I am hoping for anybody against Ottawa, but the referees are allowing more of everything in this final and I have to admint anti Ottawa or not, that is not right

LOL!!! Of course, the mighty Senators have no shame. Any team who is contend with being the second best actually does not deserve to be the second best. Ask the Senators, bet they will tell you they want to be the best of the best. Being a bridesmaid is not the same as the bride. Being second best behind the Ducks does not earn them the Stanley Cup. The Sens are mighty but not mighty enough to earn the biggest prize in NHL. It is so close and yet so far. They will be truly mighty if they win the next three games and wrestle the Cup from the mighty Ducks. Then there will be Duck soup for the 'mighty Senators'. LOL!!!

Somehow I get the feeling that even if the Sens shut out the Ducks in the next 3 games and hoist the cup you'd find a reason to say they aren't mighty ...... just a hunch here *lol*

LOL!!! What makes you think that??? For what it is worth, if the Sens did what you said, they will be indeed mightily mighty!!! As the good doc said this:
