Bi-town ;)
The Senators do seem to be a team on a mission. They're out to try and solve all of their playoff demons from previous years gone by. They are not doing it on the cheap & easy, by going through easy teams first. They are drawing dangerous teams and defeating them. Pittsburgh was just 2 points behind the Sens in the overall conference standings this year. NJ was a team that had previously devastated their chances of going on to the Stanley Cup. And now Buffalo who has been a perennial spoiler in the playoffs for years and years. If they solve the Sabres, then I hope they meet Dominic Hasek and the Red Wings. Beating Hasek would be sweet for two reasons: (1) he was the thorn in their side during all of those early years they were defeated by Buffalo, and (2) since Hasek was a Senator last year, hired on specifically to take them through the playoffs, his preventable injury from last year's Olympics destroyed the Sens' chances last year -- so it would be payback this year.

Who the heck won last night?

The Sabres or Sens?

It was 6 - 6 going into OT.

WTF happened?
Next thing you know CBC is showing something about Terry Fox.
Why weren't they showing OT?

I checked NHL.com, cnnsi.com and cbc.ca/hockey but nothing's been updated.

WHO WON????

LOL!!! Have you gotten the wrong schedule??? Thursday, May 10 -- 7:00 p.m. at HSBC Arena, home of the fearless Sabres, to begin the best of seven series. Be there or be squared, mighty Senators!!! Watch for Emery to over-sleep and miss the first game. LMAO!!!

Over-sleeping and getting into a minor car accident are better than letting in all those goals in net and thus earning a ticket to early exit to Canada's best golf course. LOL!!! All things being equal, the mighty Senators will lose the series because of their weakeast link aka loud mouth Emery.

LOL!!! No worry. It is all for entertainment and fun. This series may be more exciting than the Stanley Cup Finals. Let the two teams settle their score on the ice starting tomorrow.

I don't understand.

What the heck was that hockey game I was watching on CBC this past Monday night then between the Sabres and Sens?????

Why was CBC showing an older game for?

I actually thought it was Game 1 and it was 6 -6 going into OT.

The sabres were flying last night though ... mostly right after the Senators laid the body on them .

I'm sure a different Sabres team will show up Saturday .. I mean 20 shots on net ?

They Senators are mighty indeed, at least in the Eastern Conference. Now lets see how they will fare against their Stanley Cup opponent.

Ottawa eliminated the top 3 teams in the eastern conference(Pittsburgh had more points than Atlanta but were ranked 5th coz Atlanta won their division) in 5 games each. It would be great if they win the Stanley Cup. Win or lose, it's been a great postseason for them.
