Squeeze, does it really matter how he says he is going to finance this and that? Kamala has a lot of programs that she wants to initiate. She has said she is going to raise taxes but independent studies have said they won't cover all her plans. Is she just going to borrow another trillion? If she can't find a way to finance more programs, are those lies?

In any event, we all know most of this has to go through Congress regardless of who is President.

Take the emotion out if it and you realize hyperbole in U.S. politics is quite normal. Trump likely exaggerates more than any current politician, but some how everyone is all over his claims and disregarding Kamala's. It's okay for her to say she is going to do things that she can't pay for. Perhaps she can pay for it if she can take a bite out of the middle class. Democrats always have tax plans that they claim won't impact most Americans. It's just politics.
The biggest elephant in the room you are ignoring is what a dispicable, fundamentally flawed human being he is. Does character mean nothing to you? Spare us the "whaddabout" comparisons to other politicians past and present.

The difference is Kamala tells you she is raising corporate taxes for one, Trump lies to you and tells you his Tarrif will cover his no taxes on Tips, OT and pensions on top of huge tax cuts to the wealthy. I don't believe I can help you if you cannot see the difference.

I can't help but write off all Trump voters as having a very low IQ and/or just very gullible folks.
The point is all her tax increases will not pay for all her programs.

I haven't even brought up Kamala's plan to give first-time home buyers money for a new home will not make homes more affordable. It will only raise prices further in a housing market with tight supply.

There is the saying "take that with a grain of salt". Take ALL politicians with a grain of salt not just the one's you dislike. The biggest difference between Trump and Kamala is she's a much smoother liar. And sometimes her wheels fall off the wagon.

She's brain-dead. Literally Biden 2.0 and outside of rehearsed and coached responses, she's completely lost.

This is not a someone capable of leading a nation let alone the most powerful nation on Earth.
No, no, she's fresh.......she's a new beginning.

He is absolutely all that. But let's place things in a bit of context. I would place the trio of Bush, Cheney and Rumsfeld in a far harsher light for not only the amount of unnecessary deaths they started in Iraq, Afghanistan that led into spillover in Syria, Libya and led to the migrant crisis, also the maimings, PTSD, Opiod addictions, suicides, homelessness, family breakups and other issues that arose.

I would place ALL the politicians who refused to pay for the 9/11Ground Zero clean up medical bills as just as despicable. I know men suffering from the burn pits. Hell even Biden's Son contracted Cancer and died and STILL no acknowledgement in a concrete way.

We speak normalized bad behavior. That my friend is the real definition of it.

I stand corrected. I do not support tariffs across the board. However, China is fair game.

I was focused on the big proposed tariff with China. Mexico is currently benefiting from a manufacturing away shift away from China. Mexico is a bit complicated to discuss. They are in the U.S.-Mexico-Canada agreement which should insulate them from tariffs. Trump is known to be aggressive on trade. Mexico has a leftist government that is dangerously flirting with breaking terms of the agreement.

The U.S. incidentally also has free trade agreements with twenty countries. I wouldn't start to dissect Trump's words to presume these agreements would necessarily be blown up.
Trump cheated and imposed illegal tariffs on Canadian steel and aluminum under the guise of a national security threat. That is why I despise the orange piece of shit. He even tried to reimposr the tariffs later in 2020 only to recind that in fear of retaliation from Justin. Thst shitbag poilivere would have bent over and taken it up the ass with a smile like all the conservative prime ministers have done throughout modern history

It was personal. Trump did those tariff because he was pissed that Melania liked JT.

Exactly take everything with a grain of salt. That’s exactly why Kamala should win over the convicted felon.

That is possibly the most cop out explanation I have come across in some time leaving out all the inconvenient facts and the foreign policy positions Trump took during his time in office. Trump consistently put down NATO, and took the side of Putin. Obviously Putin did not have a reason to invade in that case, with someone like Trump doing his work for him.
Sure...you keep telling yourself that...but the reality is 4 years no invasion.

Russia invaded Crimea in 2014 under Obama's watch. Then...nothing after Trump took office. Then Russia invaded Ukraine during Biden's watch. See the trend here?

Trump pushed NATO countries to fulfill their financial obligation as they should have been doing for years instead of just relying on the US to carry the burden. Tough love so to speak, but necessary.

You can pretend that "inconvenient facts" are the reason Russia didn't invade during Trump's term, but I prefer to side with reality rather than conspiracy theories..

So tell me, do you believe Trump's claims that Haitians are eating pets and states are committing infanticide which just happens to be illegal everywhere?
Holy pivot Batman!

You just made a false claim spreading misinformation about the number of US soldier deaths in Afghanistan under Trump in an attempt to peddle a false narrative.

I set you straight on that. Now you don't even acknowledge that and move to something else?

Why do you leftists think everyone else falls for your misinformation campaigns and why do you continue with them?

Calling Trump an Anti-Imperialist Is Nonsense
The anti-war left shouldn’t fall for this dishonest pitch.

There’s a song on the Lemonheads’ underrated 1996 album Car Button Cloth that I love for very personal reasons. “The Outdoor Type” is a jangly pop tune in which the narrator admits that he had earlier misled his partner about his true interests:

I can’t go away with you on a rock-climbing weekend;

What if something’s on TV and it’s never shown again;

It’s just as well I’m not invited, I’m afraid of heights;

I lied about being the outdoor type.

I love this because I also misrepresented my enthusiasm for rock climbing to someone I very much wanted to spend more time with. And I was thinking about the lies we tell people we’re trying to lay because of the spate of recent articles trying to convince us that former U.S. President Donald Trump is an anti-imperialist.

Sen. J.D. Vance claimed in January that the most important part of Trump’s legacy is his foreign policy. “My entire adult lifetime has been shaped by presidents who threw America into unwise wars and failed to win them,” Vance wrote in a Wall Street Journal op-ed. “In Mr. Trump’s four years in office, he started no wars despite enormous pressure from his own party and even members of his own administration.”

Trump “has done more to restrain the US imperium than any politician in 75 years,” Christian Parenti wrote in Compact recently. This, Parenti claimed, is the real cause of his prosecution by the Manhattan district attorney. “Trump has been investigated, impeached, and indicted not because of the crimes of which he is accused,” wrote Parenti, “but because he has dared to oppose the imperial foreign policy favored by elites.”

Sohrab Ahmari, a former neoconservative now aligned with the Trumpist right, and one of the founders of Compact, followed up with a piece hailing Trump as “the one figure who in my lifetime has meaningfully rolled back the self-righteous imperium” scolding the anti-war left for not embracing Trump as its true hero. “The left suddenly turns ultra-principled when it comes to judging Trump’s record as an anti-imperial president: He wasn’t a total pacifist! He talked about ‘taking their oil.’ What about Yemen? Come on.”

These pieces foretell a larger effort to seduce the anti-war left with the idea that Trump, despite all evidence to the contrary, is an attractive partner for the project of reining in the American empire—that he really is the Outdoor Type. (Although for Vance, who went from outspoken Trump critic to cravenly falling in line when his political ambition required it, a better tune might be Stephen Stills’s “Love the One You’re With.”)

These pieces all rest heavily on the claim that Trump launched no new wars. That’s true as far as it goes. But it was certainly not for lack of trying. Trump might not have started any wars, but he massively inflamed existing ones—and came close to catastrophic new ones.

Let’s review the record. Despite inveighing against “endless wars,” Trump massively escalated the country’s existing wars in multiple theaters, leading to skyrocketing casualties. In Afghanistan, he substantially upped the amount of airstrikes, leading to a 330 percent increase in civilian deaths. In Yemen, he escalated both U.S. counterterrorism activities and support for the devastating Saudi-led war against the Houthis. According to the United Kingdom’s Bureau of Investigative Journalism, there were 2,243 drone strikes in just the first two years of Trump’s presidency, compared with 1,878 in the entire eight years of the Obama administration.
WTF is this? No context. No source link.

Into the trash bin it goes...

Here...you're welcome...come back after kindergarten class is over.

Maybe we can get the low class Asians who came to Canada for more cheap labor for us next. We already got the super smart Asians here in the US. It will be like home for them. Employing the poor Canadian Asians for cleaning the house and babysitting the kids.

Trump 2024 for US dominance. :LOL: Will make all the countries pay. Be afraid.

Yet you don't mention how Trumpy is going to pay for his gifts? Why does he get a pass on policy yet you expect Harris to lay it out step by step, numbers all crunched and presented in a financial presentation??

So you don't talk policy.
What policy has Trump told you about, his new Medicare??? GO ahead, enlighten us.
