I commute to North York, Richmond Hill, Vaughn, Woodbridge, Maple, Miss, Hamilton, Guelph, Kitchener, St Kits, Burlington, Grimsby regularly and have been driving for over 14 years so I have plenty to compare it to.
I spend at least 2-3 hours on the roads every day and the truth is I don't encounter many bad asian drivers. But I'm more of a stick to one lane at the same speed as the flow of traffic and keep a reasonable distance between me and the car in front so maybe that's why I don't notice many bad drivers at all because once I'm in the groove I just chill listening to the tunes. For me I love driving..... you'd have to, to do it as much as me. So other than the odd person who doesn't look in their blind spot, the lane drifter or the sudden stop I really don't see much. And generally I avoid the afforementioned drivers by staying out of people's blind spots, giving enough stopping distance and of course accounting for traffic so I'm rarely in a rush.
Frankly I'm more affraid of drunk drivers or people asleep at the wheel. And I can say that very few asians make up the drunk driving population since many of them lack the enzyme to process alcohol which means it takes very little alcohol to make them sick. As a result of this I'd say the asian population has a lot less drinkers. I can also back this up because when I attend family functions of asian friends where large numbers congregate I often don't even see any alcohol being served.
