This is the most ignorant thread I've ever read.
I live right downtown near chinatown and any rudeness I've ever encountered would be from caucasians.
What about pan handlers? I've NEVER in 30 years been approached by an asian panhandler.
As for bad driving, poor table manners, picking noses and spitting.
Again I see people spitting on the streets and usually its caucasian male teens.
As for poor driving.... when I drive past the scene of an accident and I drive all over the GTA every day its rarely an asian involved.
Poor table manners I can't comment I've never been turned off by having a meal with asian friends. Also, you have to consider that immigrants come with the manners and what is acceptable in their country.... part of the immigration process doesn't involve a course in etiquette. Maybe you should take the time to explain the "rules" before penalizing people for it.
Unless you are native american you are an immigrant to this country at one time or another. So the only thing you have done is come here first or popped out of your mom on Canadian soil.
Now if you are going to throw around stereotypes then how about some positive ones like generally asians believe in hard work and good educations. Take a look at who is often at the head of the class. Also, in terms of crime I'd say that asians are responsible for the least amount of crime. Finally, from a financial standpoint many asians who immigrate here are very well off. For example Don Valley Toyota/Lexus is one of the best selling dealerships in Toronto because a lot of its clientelle are asians who outright buy the cars on the spot with cash (okay cheques rather than loans). North York and Richmond Hill also has a lot of asians living there and real estate is not cheap there. Oh yeah and what about all of the contributions asians have made to the world (e.g. being the forerunners in science and technology, producing quality cars, martial arts, foods (where did pasta come from), what we call alternative medicines). From a historical point of view a lot of asians lots their lives slaving away building the canadian railway which was crucial for forming the infrastructure of this country..... so chances are there are many asians who can claim to be more canadian than some so called caucasian canadians.
Finally, if we're so big on the right to free speech what about the right to live without persecusion? Furthermore, the right to live without persecusion precedes the right to free speech. Thus people like Ernst Zundel can't go around spewing his crap and hiding behind free speech.
