They're are considered an "inter-league rival" apparently.

Yanks/Mets, O's/Nats, Sox/Braves, Rays/Marlins, Jays/Phils

The other 4 divisions do this also.

We played them twice last year as well. Both were 2 game series home and away.
Every other NL team we played 3 times.
