Sounds an interesting party!!! Sorry official duties kept me from attending. For a gathering of that size, some are going to have a good time while others not. So not surprising at all to see what happened! Sorry to see the lovely and talented Francesca not have a good time there. May I suggest for the next party, let the seductive Francesca go up to the stage, do a strip tease dance to entertain the entire crowd and herself. My fault for being so shy but I started my evening by sitting in my car outside for half an hour trying to decide whether or not to go in. Everyone coming and going was with someone and I was by myself. Not sure where I mustered up the courage but I finally went in. Partially because I know how nice everyone in the chats have been and I was looking forward to meeting some of them and partly cause of my donated gift for the cause.
Once inside, I made a beeline for the bar for some liquid courage. Then headed over to the pool tables and tried talking to a couple of people there but was difficult becuase they were all with friends and stuff. So I then went back to the bar, proceeded to have a few more drinks, watched the bands and the Bound and Gagged demo, both of which I enjoyed.
The couple of people I did try talking to were not with TERB so I gave up feeling rather out of place, very definitely shy still and disappointed that I didn't meet anyone from TERB.
I loved the entertainment and the fact that the cash and gift donations were so successful. That in itself is reason to do it again.
Being quite new to the board, I don't know anything about any of the 'drama' that was going on beforehand. Just went out to have a good time and meet some new people. In the end, I had an okay time and didn't really meet anyone but maybe next time I will show up earlier and have lots of liquid courage and then just talk to everyone and anyone regardless of whether or not they are from TERB...lol

Sorry to hear about the bullshit Shiek, I was unaware of any of it since I do not visit any other boards. I for one did not feel uncomfortable about the muscle at all, actually, it was nice to know that there would not be any crap going on. Thanks for organizing the party. Though it was not what I expected, I am glad such donations were made to help those in need. Cheers.

While I am sorry that your party was not a success, you cannot place the failure at my feet. Coke does not run around blaming Pepsi for declining sales.
Personally, I did nothing to interfere with your event, and I told people to not bother with it if they did not want to attend in good faith. I also told anyone that they could go to one or the other or both, it really did not concern me if someone choose one, the other or both.
You gave the reason for withdrawing from the Seductions party as being that it was posted on different boards, not a Terb only event. But as I pointed out to you, there are members there that are members here, and the internet being what it is there was no way of keeping the knowledge only here. As a way of trying to prevent any problems, I opened the party up, knowing full well that if you get people onside and pulling together, there is less friction. I even warned you in advance that there was NO upside to pulling out. But you went ahead and pulled out. Which is fine, it is your decision, if you need to be in control of this entire industry, that is your decision. That was when the poo hit the fan. Not before.
And since we are on the issue of poo, lets be honest, there are Terb members that run over to the other boards, use a different handle, rant rave and shit disturb, then come back here and complain about how evil and wild the other board is. That is known as being hypocritical. And you know very well that it happens. The other board let some jackass post details of your party as well as crap all over the people that were trying to organise the Seductions event, but over here there were outright lies about the Seductions event. Rather than say "Terb has decided to withdraw from the Seductions event", you lied and said that it was cancelled. Further, you laid the blame for the event's destruction on my shoulders, and never once mentioned the diplomacy that was attempted, not only by me but by Terb advertisers.
And this bullshit about the safety of the Terb advertisers is nothing but crap. Your advertisers were fine and happy with me posting everywhere, because a larger turn out meant more potential clients. I know, because a number of your advertisers and I chatted. It was only after you pulled out of the party, that "issues" came to light. And to be honest, the issue was not their safety as much as it seemed to be that you were afraid of losing market share in the advertising part of things.
And the reason that more of the women did not attend either party is because YOU forced them to "make a choice" and that attendence would show just "where the loyalites lay". I had a number of SP's cancel on the Seductions party because "they could not afford to alienate TERB" or that they were afraid that they would lose business if they went to one or the other party. Some women told me that they would rather not go to either party, rather than risk offending a potential client.
Personally, at the end of the day, I don't care that you wanted to withdraw from the Seductions event. I was disappoined, because I thought that the participation of Terb would have ensured an excellent party for everyone, and it MIGHT have just allowed some people to meet and work out their differences. And again, I was not upset or pissed that you wanted to organise a Terb only event.
But I was pissed that you a) lied b) censored me c) read my PM's d) blamed me for your decision to back out e) decided to have a party on the same date for no reason f) blame me for your party not being a rip roaring success.
Don't get me wrong, there are many great things about Terb, just as there are many good things about every board. I enjoy many of the forums here, and really have no animosity to you or Fred. I am only pissed at the things that I have mentioned.
Personally, I am willing to move on. Now, unban the Winson handle please.
