Just as I predicted several years ago. At the time it was "that time of the month" that stopped her from winning the Canadian Open.

The Paris Gold Medalist survived her toughest test, I don't see anyone stopping her. She's athletic like Caroline Garcia with a far superior brain.

Can Diana Schneider upset Jessica Pegula?

As great as Emma Navarro has played she going to have a tough against the winner of the Sabalenka vs Zhang matchup. Her father Ben Navarro is the Italo/American version of George Soros. They both made off with a billion dollars by shorting a national economy. Soros shorted the British Pound Sterling in 1992 while Navarro shorted the American Real Estate market in 2008. Navarro is now the founder of Sherman Financial Group and the owner of Credit One Bank.

Ben Navarro is a darker version of Michael Burry (Christian Bale).

6-1 6-2. Sabalenka. No one stopping Zheng?

I didn't expect Qinwen and Daniil to get dominated like they were. Those that didn't participate in the Olympics are stepping up.

I want the championship final to be Pegula vs Sabalenka. I will definitely be rooting for Jess to win it all because Aryna already has 2 Grand Slam titles. ;) LOL
Pegula vs Navarro will be the dream matchup. But it wont happen. Sabalenka is too strong and Muchova is too crafty. Sabalenka vs Muchova for the final, much to the disappointment of US fans and ESPN.

This has to be not only one of the least compelling US opens, but of any Grand Slam that I can recall. I've watched a good chunk of this year US and I don't recall one epic match with a dramatic story line. Don't get me wrong there's been some good matches with decent tennis, but for a major it doesn't stand up.

Nothing that made me get super excited while watching or considered an upcoming match that was a "must see". I was hoping that Sinner/Medvedev would be a classic, but it was another dud. Just my opinion.

I only saw a very tiny bit of the 2 matches but it looked like more non-competitive tennis.

Did I hear the radio correctly this morning? The first time in 18 years an American is in the U.S. Open Men's final?
