I am talking about trying to stop drug trafficking. How long have they been trying to stop coke and heroin? 100 years? Fentanyl is much easier to produce and smuggle, so how do you expect that to go?

If they were able to catch 2lbs of fentanyl with little to no effort...I'm pretty sure they will catch a lot more with an actual program that focuses on it....is this really how you guys gonna go about it...."hey we've been trying to stop drugs from coming in and we've been doing this for 100 years...we should stop trying now..."

Fighting drugs will be on going....there is no such strategy that ends the fight for drug trafficking once and for all...everything evolves...

I'll concede that he was right when he said that he loves the poorly educated. Forget elite colleges and private schools and discuss government funded schools. Do you think that the US has a better educational system than Canada? All Ontarian kids get basically the same education. Inner city Phiile, Baltimore, Boston, Buffalo, Detroit, Chicago, Patterson NJ and all of the poor southern states and so many more districts are all under-funded. All of the rural kids work the mines and fields and never get a good education. Those kids will almost never have a chance.

He has not folded yet, we should be clear, that while we work on implementing the things we agreed to, we are also working on a much more comprehensive plan of retaliation, in case Trump proceeds after 30 days. Canada will be ready to defend. This should be a much larger tariff package and we should also say energy is on the table if we need it.

The real play here is he wants jobs back from Mexico and Canada, but it's almost impossible to do this.

Reality is undefeated. Our economy is too interconnected to just throw tariffs around. What makes it worse is we are having a shoving match that the world is watching. The EU, East Asian, South America etc is watching and will say lets plan before this guy targets us next.

I can't understand how anyone with a brain is saying Trump won or Canada is bending the knee. Trump is literally isolating America, with nothing to really show for it.

If Deutsche Telecom could come to the U.S. and build one of the U.S.' largest carriers, so could a Canadian telecom.
