Bad puns make me puke... and I get dehydrated!

Problem is I can't tell it's bad until after I read it.

So I urge people to exercise some self control and use this test: if you have to ask yourself whether or not it is a good pun, it is not!

Problem is that the good ones make me piss in my pants... so I am still getting dehydrated... but when it is so much fun I can tolerate it!

I love these threads but can never contribute bc service is never atrocious.

I did go to a pizza pizza to buy wings to bring to a party (was going to buy steak but the girl who invited me was being flakey with what to bring)

asked the cashier for an order of 20 bbq and another order for 10 bbq. He asked me what i wanted to order so i repeated myself and pointed to the menu. again, he was confused so i stared at him until he got somebody else.

Wow that sounded rude...

The doctor is in
That was humerus.

The thing is my meal was more expensive - so I paid for something I didn't get. They said they would return my payment and the meal would be free. That didn't happen. And they treated me like an asshole on the phone.
Quick fix - call your CC company and get a charge back. Of course, if you paid by cash, this clever little tactic will not work. If all else fails, scream bloody murder until they get sick of listening to you...

Maybe this is a stupid thread but I feel like ranting.

Ordered Swiss Chalet the other night and they accidentally gave me someone else's order while giving another person mine. I could not get through to them - kept getting put on hold. They asked me three times what province I was in.

I had the receipt and phone number of the woman who got my meal and called her and we chatted for a little bit. She was cool. :) Anyway, they then brought her original order and gave it to her for free because of the mistake.

They said they would bring my order within 30 minutes and it would be free. They never showed up. And never answered the phone. The next day they said they have no record of my phone call or order. Despite the fact that they delivered a meal (the wrong one) to my door.

I will never use them again. Rant over. LOL

Destroy them with a negative online review if not write a letter to a higher authority for a gift voucher.

P.S. On a small note, I've had wrong orders from a take-out place near my work. I now check what's in the bag (2 errors in a row, plus they would've forgotten my drink had I not reminded the pretty, young lady). Check the contents before you pay.

I might as well tell my story.
Wife likes her pizza on thin crust. We have been getting good service from the local Pizza Pizza and a more gourmet pizza place where we have to pick up(just outside of free delivery zone).
So if we are lazy we order in from PP, but if we want to spend a bit more and go pick it up we go with the other place.

Well twice in a row now the wife's pizza has gotten fucked up. Got what she ordered, as in toppings, but on regular(thick) crust.
Took the bill and printout copy of online order to the local PP and they just said ok and made a thin crust and let us keep the other one, so three for the price of two.

This past weekend we phoned in our order to the gourmet place and wife explained what had happened the previous week just to let them know, not expecting anything. Guy listened to her and when it came time to pay he gave us the party sized with four toppings(that we ordered) and did not charge us for the toppings. Saved us over $10 and he threw in four cans of pop for free.

Yeah, because I had to eat chicken instead of the ribs I ordered!! Grrrrrr......
Better for you anyway. Believe me when I tell you to watch your cholesterol intake. You are young now and destructible but someday you will need to pay. I sure did. Maybe had I watched my diet I would have still had heart issues anyway but I still wish I had a better diet in my youth.

Besides they would have probably spit in your food anyway for having to come out a second time. ;)

Weird that you say that - my doctor told me today that my cholesterol is very high. I am skinny and try to avoid fatty foods...

Swiss Chalet is barely a step up over McDonald's so eat it very sparingly. Probably best to avoid it before a physical too. Other than that, drink more green or black tea instead of cold drinks with your greasy meal.

I enjoy SC chicken but NOT the ribs. I've had them at various locations and always find them too tough.

I have had SC ribs several times, every time it was dried out. The ribs were on their way to becoming rib jerky. Their chicken is also dried out. I can not think of a meal that is more over priced for what you get than ribs. You are mostly paying for bones.

That really sucks Miss Croft. I think you should send in a formal complaint and see how they handle it.

I always pick up when I do Swiss Chalet and I have to say I find their service varies tremendously between locations. The Bloor and Royal York location is fantastic, I'm usually in and out of there within 5 minutes, 10 if it's a bit busier. I have waited upwards of 20 minutes at other locations, particularly the ones with both Harvey's and Swiss Chalet. The worst is the the one at Keele and St Clair. Never again will I go there.

Ah Bloor and Royal York is my end of town. Always liked that Swiss Chalet, and I still think Swiss Chalet is an OK restaurant chain.

While I prefer other pizza places than Pizza Pizza, I'm not surprised that they would fix the problem right away. They aren't successful for no reason.

Pizza Pizza is a place of last resort when I don't have time for an alternative. You can be choosy and it won't be so bad.

Please learn from my mistake. Watch your diet, There might be fat in things you never thought. For example wraps. The one that floored me was Hershey's Kisses have cholesterol. I never figured chocolate could have cholesterol! And I love chocolate.

High cholesterol can be genetic and have little to do with one's attempts to avoid it through diet and exercise (though they certainly can't hurt).

Correct.

Miss Croft, you're doctor should keep on monitoring you. There's one medication that keeps bad cholesterol down, and it's called Crestor. My doc thinks it should be added to the water supply.
