Maybe this is a stupid thread but I feel like ranting.

Ordered Swiss Chalet the other night and they accidentally gave me someone else's order while giving another person mine. I could not get through to them - kept getting put on hold. They asked me three times what province I was in.

I had the receipt and phone number of the woman who got my meal and called her and we chatted for a little bit. She was cool. :) Anyway, they then brought her original order and gave it to her for free because of the mistake.

They said they would bring my order within 30 minutes and it would be free. They never showed up. And never answered the phone. The next day they said they have no record of my phone call or order. Despite the fact that they delivered a meal (the wrong one) to my door.

I will never use them again. Rant over. LOL

Service all over is getting shitty!! Numerous times I've been to Tim Hortins and asked for a medium cream only and get a double double???? Really!! Went to McDonalds on the weekend and asked for a bacon and egg bagel sandwich, drove away and what did I have?? Sausage and egg. What the hell!! My rant done.

That is brutal. I stopped using them a while ago as well because their quality is so inconsistent depending on what location delivers to you. Plus they are a rip off.

I know 2 or 3 independent chicken places that are cheaper and better quality. The only thing Swiss Chalet has going for them is the sauce. So now I just buy the sauce from the grocery store and whip it up when I order from one of the alternatives.

Agreed. But I was in a Swiss Chalet rib mood. Oh well.

That was humerus.


The thing is my meal was more expensive - so I paid for something I didn't get. They said they would return my payment and the meal would be free. That didn't happen. And they treated me like an asshole on the phone.

its all the summer students starting their summer jobs. they are not properly trained or screened. its the same every year ( or on weekends) frankly, I don't know how some of them find their way home.

Definitely. My standby order went from $12 three years ago to just over $15.25 today. I could have a nice sit-down meal for only slightly more than that!

And the quality of their food is hit and miss too. Sometimes you get a beautifully cooked bird. Other times it's almost burnt to a crisp.

You have no one to blame but yourself - look where you ordered food from. You should order a pizza from a Chinese restaurant next time. It will be crap, they will get your wrong.
