Is anybody here old enough to remember having seen Steve in his first starring movie role, in the old semi-horror movie "The Blob" in 1958, when it was first released?

Not when it was first released...But I saw it as a teenager in the late 70’s.

I'd heard he did it himself, but when I watched the clip earlier, I was a bit skeptical. He did a good job with the rest of the chase.
