Actually Phil all the measures including masks are working. And I can prove it.

So far the numbers for flu are down drastically in all catagories. And the only reason for this has to be social distancing, closures, and mask wearing. Because they are the only difference this year.

So don't ask what isn't working. Ask how bad it would be without the measures in place. Or less buy in.

Look at California with the same population. And their numbers. That tells the story.

Look at 2 European countries who have almost exactly the same populations, Portugal and Sweden.
Portugal mandated masks. Sweden didnt.

Mandates and buy ins are two different things. And Portugal is a tourist and Brit expat haven similar to Mexico. So the cultural demographics are quite different. Neither POPULATIONS TOOK IT SERIOUSLY.

Thats the difference. The govt can say things. But its only when enforced does it make a difference.

No masks work if people don't wear them all the time when other people are around. You admitted it.

Good masks AND compliance is what's needed.

BTW thats a pile of bullshit you just pulled out of your ass, you have no way of knowing which population took things seriously, and there's a travel ban throughout most of Europe so you cannot blame Portugal's numbers solely on tourists

Until there is mass wearing of masks and people do not congregate without masks, we don't have the answer. Sunday could be another super-spreader because people will congregate and take off their masks to eat and drink.

Good masks AND compliance is what's needed. One of those two, without the other is useless.

If they don't faithfully wear them, they might as well put fishnet stockings over their face.

Cases are down to 745. I guess that proves that current mask use is working.

Masks combined with following other protocols is required.
