Red: Creating life (or ending life) is just a wee bit different than flying in an air-plane don't you think.

There are significantly more serious ramifications.

Do I think it is "unatural" for two men or women to have children? Yes.
Do I think it's evil?:No
Do I think there is a better relationship than same sex, for bringing up kids?: yes
Are some hetro couples evil to their kids?:Yes

Are hetro's perfect?:NO
Is the hetro relationship natural?:Yes.
sure- creating life is different than building an air plane. but my point was we use technology to do things that we want to do - like fly to the bahamas or bomb iraq. what is wrong with using technology to allow gays to have and raise children. nothing. you may think that hetero relationships are natural - thats great- but gays believe that their relationships are natural too.

its not an experiment. should we take all the children away from single parents because the kids don't have the influence of a father or mother? at the end of the day- their choice to have or not have children is their business and not yours or mine.
No, we shouldn't take away kids from single parents for the obvious reason that sending them to foster homes or orphanages is even worse!

Society permits heterosexual couples to decide without interference whether or not to procreate because society presumes, correctly, that men and women together offer the best possible parenting for a child. Society does not presume that the man and woman will not stay together or fulfill their roles as father and mother.

However, there's plenty of evidence that children raised without a father or mother are less well adjusted, are more prone to be involved in crime, are subject to more abuse, and are less likely to be successful parents themselves.

Single parenting is a tough job and anyone who does it deserves a lot of credit, unless they intentionally created that situation for themselves!

However, the real issue is whether parenting without both a father or mother is optimal - and it isn't. Any honest single parent would tell you that. Why would anyone want to intentionally subject a child to the disadvantages of being raised without a father or mother? There's just no reason that could justify it.

Is the act of posing a series of yes/no questions to oneself and then answering same an annoying and irritating rhetorical device? Yes.

Is it effective? No

Does this post have a point? Not sure.

Should I shut up now? Probably.

Will I? Hell No.

Should I get back to work? Yes.

Jusy a quick way of putting my cards on the table.

I guess, I'm uncomfortable, with "Homosexuality", not homosexuals.
And, it's difficult, for me to understand, why, when we use two different words to describe, Gays and straights, why, it's so different to use two words to describe Hetro, unions, and Homo unions.
