How about spending money to elect officials for some gun control. For proper medical treatment for mentally ill.

One common trait of serial killers and mass shootings (school, work) is that some reason it's usually a white guy.
I can understand why there aren't many females. Females typically don't do a lot of crime, gang stuff, and hardcore killings and such.
But how come you don't see too many Blacks, Latinos or Asian men doing big shootings?

There does seem to be some sort of double standard going on here. I mean, of course the guy is crazy - mass shooters are NOT normal by definition, especially teenage ones. But....
Eg: if the guy had any remote connections to Muslims, Antifa, etc that were similar to his apparent connections to a white nationalist group would people still be as quick to question it, or use pills, or mental illness in a search for an explanation? Just reading on the cbc app that this militia is now backtracking its claim. Reason is a name mix up according to a spokesperson.
I will say this. If he had shot up a black church id say racist. Somewhere else yelling Alluh Akbar a Muslim extremist.
But he shot up his high school he had been kicked out of after numerous family traumas and lots of reported anti social behavior. So i went with mental illness.
And yes mental illness can be a factor in the other two but doesn't have to be.

But there is a definite double standard in response, particularly Trump. And for the sake of argument - earlier posts pointing out the fact that he shot white victims actually miss the point. Some white nationalists do not view blacks as the enemy. They want white racial purity. So a white person ok with something like intermarriage is the enemy. And going back to the double standard - IF he had yelled “Allah Akbar” yet also shot Muslim victims, do you think the same people would use the Muslim victims as an explanation of why he could NOT be a Muslim terrorist? Be honest.
That would explain the shooting part, but not the part where he mostly targeted white kids.
