Ac Milan completed their Europa League preliminaries as the beat Norwegian club Bodo Glimt 3 -2. The Great Zlatanissimo was rested.

The match is significant as Lorenzo Colombo scored the first of what I believe will be many goals for Milan. But he's only 18, not sure if he's a freak like M'Bappe.

Is Calhanoglu the best trequartista? A ragazzino...he's a bull.

For all his arrogance, The Great Zlatanissimo is a very smart man.

He has property in Milano, there wasn't much discussion as to where he wanted to go once he left LA Galaxy. He may be rewarded with silverware. Rafael Leao is expected to come out of quarantine in early October he's asymptomatic. Some football experts believe that teenager Enzo Colombo is the second coming of Gigi Riva. Pioli can rotate all three in Italy and Europe, if he does that who can stop them?

In other news, Roma CEO Guido Fienda has been fined $8190 and suspended for 30 days for breaking Covid - 19 protocol. He doesn't have much recourse to appeal since the Italian Government clearly stated the regimen upon re-start of the season. He figured he could get away with it - the Federale haven't been known to show backbone in the past.

Paolo Maldini isn't standing still.

Some took exception that I believe Ac Milan has eclipsed Barcelona, nor the growing financial muscle of Lombardy overall. I figured the rise of Atalanta would have made that clear. Maldini already has a club stacked with Under 22's he just bought another from the Norwegian club Milan just defeated. Not sure about the financial terms yet.

Coming up: Inter vs Fiorentina. How are you folks liking the latest addition to the TLN family: Sussanah Guthrie?

As David Letterman said: Leggy Supermodel.

She is easy on the eyes

It was a bit sad to see Inter win today. I don't think they play with any plan or focus, but with an abundance of talent..

Fiorentine played well. Ribery was awesome, even without Robben. He will be good when he matures.

Hum Ribery is at the end of the road. He is 37. You still think he will be good when he matures?

He was a great player. His career a bit hurt by his personal life but hey... Football player are not supposed to see SP. Only us should ;)

Imagine Dane, in time Ribery could be as good as The Great Zlatanissimo!

A Taste of Travel is an Amazon Prime Show, it's the break between matches at 2:00PM. They're using lovely Ms. Guthrie to get more people to sign up.

Great game today, Ribery and Chiesa ran the show. Nainggolan and Vidal look like 2 MS-13 members, but what a comeback at the end of the second period. Lukaku wasn't that great.

The Great Zlatanissimo tested positive for the coronavirus, he'll be in quarantine for a month. He said in a statement.

"I tested negative for COVID yesterday and positive today, no symptoms whatsoever. COVID had the courage to challenge me, bad idea".

After Carlino got canned by Napoli, critics said he should retire. Now His current club Everton (scouser1's favorite) and the club he won 4 Champions Cups with, Ac Milan, are tops in their respective leagues.

Atalanta and Inter play on Wednesday against Lazio and Benevento, it will be five teams with six points.

I'm pissed, Roma deserved to win, CR7 is still carrying Juve. They played very well but after Rabiot saw red for being an idiot, Juve girded their loins and tied it.

Pep > Carlino, my ass. Koulibaly doesn't want to go to City.

If Dzeko gets a lucky bounce Roma would have walked away with the 3 points, very interesting to see Juve come out and take it to what is basically a mid table club.

Gumba, I grudgingly agree.Btw I knew Tim Castagne left Atalanta, didn't know he went to Leicester. Extremely sweet win!

Great game Roma dominated Juve. Pirlo should've pulled Rabiat, even after the first yellow card he was doing stupid things. I hope Pirlo knows what he's doing as a manager. Terrible coordination between Juve players.

Milan have a relatively easy start to their season, they play NATO Naval Base Spezia next. Then it's the Derby Della Madonina on the Thanksgiving weekend. Juve have it tough, they play Napoli in Torino, the Partenopei trashed Genoa 6-0.

Gennarino assesses his frenemy's future.

La Spezia is an interesting place, all of the footage that you see is of the South Coast. The South-East Coast is s strictly classified, the HQ of NATO in the Mediterranean. Nor can you record from the promontory, it's owned by the Italian military and strictly verboten.

Dzeko was sat out for Verona, he was rusty. Against mighty Crotonese, Leao and Colombo got to play together, they didn't score but created lots of space for others. Ac Milan are Juve biggest threat to take the scudetto. Even though I was mocked, I still believe that Rafael Leao is CR7's heir.
