It looks like it will be a tough year for Juventus, the rest of the league has caught up. And it could be for Atalanta as well, second loss in a row. Sampdoria has their number, they've lost to them in their last three successive games.

CR7 tested positive again and missed the match against Verona, he'll be evaluated again on Tuesday.

Danmand is Mikkel Damsgaard playing for Denmark? He's born in 2000.

Mikkel Damsgaard plays for Denmark U21.

Christian Eriksen "l'invisibile".

No, non esiste.

I read the piece Dane, my answer is the same: Eriksen and Barella don't mesh. There's not much Conte can do about it, they have to figure it out between themselves. If they can do that then Inter will win the Scudetto.

I think it would be better for everybody, if Eriksen was let go. He belongs in the Bundesliga.

Dane you're a man of business, you know how this works. Eriksen signed a contract, unless another club comes up with a transfer that Inter can live with, he's not going anywhere. Conte has no interest in making a potential rival stronger.

Money talks. Conte could trade Eriksen and get somebody that would be more malleable to his needs.

Eriksen was feted as a star in England and Denmark, and may have high opinions of himself.

Simon KJaer had some advice to Conte in a recent interview.
The Best In The World In His Role”

AC Milan central defender Simon Kjaer has insisted that national team teammate Christian Eriksen has to play in his natural role in order for him to do his best.
Eriksen joined Inter in the most recent January transfer window from Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur but has really struggled to perform to the level that he did for Spurs, where he was undoubtedly one of the best midfielders in the Premier League.
Eriksen has found himself struggle for playing time as a starter since his arrival at Inter with more of his appearances coming off of the bench rather than as a starter.
The 28-year-old former Ajax player has made 31 appearances across all competitions to date for the Nerazzurri, in which he has scored four goals and tallied three assists for his teammates.
“I’m talking to him. Christian is a player I know very well and he is the best in the world in his role,” Danish national team player Kjaer explained in an interview with Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, following last night’s 3-3 draw with Roma.
“He should play in his position but I’m not the one putting him onto the pitch. I still think he’s doing his best. I hope for him and for Inter he is well.”

Juventus La Spezia. They were 1-1 the first period and LaSpezia was doing very good. Second period, Pirlo pulls out Dybala..in comes Ronaldo that survived covid and withing 2 minutes Ronaldo scores. Then Juve scored 2 more goals, looks like Ronaldo lit up his players.

Sassuolo missing some of its best players manages to win 2-0 against powerful Napoli Wow.

Yesterday Crotone Atalanta, I have to say this is the second time I see crotone play and they're very good for a team of that caliber.

Inter - Parma 2-2 Romolo wasn't playing and Inter was lack luster.

That's why he is The Great Zlatanissimo.

Sassuolo are this year's Atalanta. The Bergamasci club has been somewhat exposes for their defensive lapses, Sportiello can't save them every time. Manuel Locatelli is their Papu Gomez, he had a tough time at Milan and was loaned out. Since then he's blossomed, playing well for club and country. Napoli needs to recall Milik, Osimhen isn't ready for prime time.

More on Sassuolo, it's the second smallest town in Serie A after Crotone. They own their own stadium - or more to the point their sponsor owns it Mapei. Sassuolo is a company town with Mapei (Italian BASF) being the largest employer. They beat Napoli without their trequartista Dom Berardi who's in quarantine.

He should have received a red card for that. It was irresponsible.

The Great Zlatanissimo is a black Belt in Tae Kwon Do, if he wanted to kick the defender in the face, he would have. No penalty.

Rare erroraccio by Ale to concede the penalty.

Zlatanissimo didn't touch the defender, no penalty.

CR7 wasn't always like this, he evolved. In his younger days he used his physical ability to create scoring chances. While he was at ManU that didn't work against Milan. Not with players like Costacurta, Oddo and Gennarino playing against him. He got lucky the following year, Milan got docked due to Calciopoli (a big fuckin farce all round). Then he got skunked by Puyol in the 2009 CL Final. After he moved to Real, he figured out that he didn't have to do it all himself, he became a more positional player. He rarely challenged defenders one on one. He won another 4 CL Cups and became The True Goat.

Btw Gonzalo Higuain didn't cover himself in glory against TFC.

A high kick with several other players heads close by is dangerous play, and should be penalized with a caution and an indirect free kick.

Maybe the referee was afraid of the wrath of Zlatan.

The official rule is: " Scissors or bicycle kicks are permitted in the game unless an opponent is within playing distance and the kicker’s foot is, in the opinion of the Referee, dangerously high so as to endanger the opponent. If no one is within playing distance, there can be no offense."

If you look at it again I agree with Danmand this was dangerous play. The defender had to move his head to avoid to be kicked in the face. He was all along within playing distance.
