Juve lose the Coppa Italia final to Napoli on a 2-4 aggregate, Serie A is back baby!

We've been seeing plenty of precision football with the Bundesliga, now for some flair football. The first two weeks are being stuttered into 4 day increments before reverting to the weekend schedule. Not sure how good the play will be as Italy is going into the hot Mediterranean summer. The aim is to end the season in early August. Torino vs Parma will get things started with Juve vs Bologna closing out W1 on Mon. W2 starts immediately on Tues.

After a rocky start, Gennarino has the Partenopei playing well. Alex Meret is making a statement to be on the Azzurri.

I like Sarri but I tend to agree, Juve needed a younger, more aggressive coach. Paolo Fonseca appeared to be the perfect fit but the Agnelli's wouldn't risk it. He went to Roma instead. Not sure if the CL will restart, Juve could be coasting. It looks bad that they only managed three SOG in their last two matches.

I'm supporting Lazio, the tables have turned for Simone Inzaghi. As a player he was under his more famous brother's shadow Filippo. Superpipo scored vital goals against Bayern and Inter, giving AC Milan a chance to win the Champions League in 2003.

Alex Meret out duels a legend. Pepe Reina served Napoli well but his time was done. For Meret, the future is now. Sarri didn't make it any easier, he favoured Douglas Costa over Bernardeschi whom CR7 links better with.

As a Roma sympathizer this season has been rough, on the one hand you have Juve on its way to another title with the only real challenger is FC Mussolini is hard to stomach. On a side note, Sara Carvalho is absolute perfection :D

Scouser1, I'll take Lazio over Saudi United any day. Sara Carvalho is cute but they are speaking Portugesh. Here's an interview with CierreSette where he gets to answer in language he likes.

With the lovely Diletta Leotta.

Commendatore, other than DAZN, how else to you watch Serie A?

Along with UCL, EPL and Tennis (my SO loves tennis) I find DAZN worth it.

TLN (Mediaset) has almost all the matches. If this continues danmand wont be happy, Cornelius is being manhandled by Cazzodurro.

Just as I say that Parma scores, but Torino still has the run of play.

The danish papers are full of stories bout Inter and Eriksen. Supposedly, Conte has changed the system to 3 4 1 2 to accomodate Eriksen.

To be fair to Cornelius, the weather didn't favour him. Torino gets quite humid this time of the year. And having a big center-forward to hold up the defense doesn't work against Armando Izzo (Cazzodurro), he's Chiellini in his prime freakishly strong. Having two Scandinavians on the attack for Parma was not a good idea. Kulusevski was operating at half his normal pace.

When I first noticed Izzo, I said to myself, "great another hard rock defender that Spain can build their team around". He's actually from Napoli.

A very interesting interview but I will stay with my original statement of Sara Carvalho being hotter hahha, I guess he isnt comfortable in speaking Italian, as a language teacher myself I get that it is much easier to understand a language than be able to produce it on your own. What do you think is there going to be a fall out at Juve after they lost to Napoli? and I am confused, who do you support in Serie A?

Inter-Sampadoria 2-1
Eriksen, Lukaku and Martinez played well in the first half, but the second half was a different story.

Eriksen looked good in the trequartista position. They started fast but the heat got to them and Samp nearly stole the match. That may not happen once Brozovic returns.

Inter just signed an 18 year old Greek defender Giorgios Vagiannidis (crude sounding name) and those cheating rotten bastards at ManCity tried to poach the deal. The Greco wasn't interested in going there and having his career aborted.

There are rumors that Martinez will go to Barcelona, and Inter will sign Jesus from Manchester City.

It's bullshit, Barcelona don't want to pay the $130 million release clause and Lautaro has never said he wanted to leave. And Messi has a reputation of ruining young players.

Even in victory the pressure mounts on Sarri, they lost De Sciglio again. Juve are strong when he's in the lineup but he's brittle. Danilo has been a disaster, dump his ass.

Sarri's biggest mistake is selling Moise Kean, it will come back to haunt him. Time is catching up with CR7, he can't be the point man anymore and Dybala is better as a trequartista.

Beautiful goal!

Two very interesting matches coming up:
Verona vs Napoli
Atalanta vs Lazio

Verona now have stable ownership, they are owned by Sports/Entertainment entrepreneur Maurizio Celli, he also owns the Moulin Rouge in Paris. The suburban Chievo Verona were just pretenders. They currently sit in the log jam at midtable but are just two points out of CL spot currently held by Atalanta.
