A Romanian court says the Andrew Tate case can’t go to trial because of missteps by the prosecutors

An appeals court in Romania ruled Thursday that the human trafficking case against influencer Andrew Tate, his brother and two Romanian women cannot go to trial because of multiple legal and procedural irregularities on the part of the prosecutors.

The ruling comes two years after Andrew Tate, 38, and his brother Tristian Tate, 36, were arrested, along with the two women. The four are accused of human trafficking and forming a criminal gang to sexually exploit women, and Andrew also faces an additional rape charge.

The decision by the Bucharest Court of Appeal is a huge setback for Romania’s anti-organized crime agency, DIICOT, but it does not mean the Tates and the two women walk free — the case has not been closed, and there is also a separate legal case against the brothers in Romania.

The court effectively returned case to the prosecutors, who can now bring forth new evidence to back up their charges, or amend and change the existing ones. In November, the same court gave prosecutors five days to amend their case file or withdraw it.
They are far from being released of all charges. The investigation is ongoing and spread to the UK and Florida. It doesn't look good for your boys.

Plus Tristan is looking chubby and Tate blew a bicep and is looking small. He blew it sparring. guess he's getting too old and soft to throw them anymore.

My boys?? You honestly think I give a rats ass if they get convicted or not??
I'm just puzzled by the obsession you Lefties have over these two pimps.
They live far away in Romania, their lives in no way affect yours, and yet they live rent free inside your heads for some reason.

Now why would that be??!! 🤔

One of Tate’s previously offered courses, the “PhD Program” or “Pimping Hoes Degree,” consisted of videos teaching men how to seduce and monetize women by coercing them into working as webcam models. In one video, Tate refers to the “PhD” course as “my recruitment system,” and explains that it is “impossible to have a woman work for you without having sex with her.”

Tate perpetuates the ideas that women are responsible if they are raped and that they “belong” to men in marriage. In one interview, titled “My Life as a Pimp – Andrew Tate Tells His Life Story,” Tate unequivocally admits that he is “absolutely a misogynist,” adding, “I’m a realist, and when you’re a realist, you’re sexist. There’s no way you can be rooted in reality and not be sexist.” In that same interview, he describes women as “intrinsically lazy” and says there is “no such thing as an independent female.”

Well as they say there's no smoke without fire right? For Brand and the Tate brothers.

I've watched Tates videos - from his course - some of them at least. Its hilarious how one minute he's teaching you chess and then the next he's teaching you his webcam game.

Its like a burglar putting up videos on how to case a house, how to break in etc.... I'm sure half of what he taught has been useful for the prosecution who originally brought a case against him.

Edit: Its still available online - https://archive.org/details/hustlers-university-free-full-course

Exactly.
This isn't "the case fell apart" at all.

Do you understand that being charged isn't a crime?

If he's found guilty, that's a different story.

If someone makes an horrible accusation against, and brings charges against squeezer, does that mean you're a POS?

And before you pile on, note the following: this isn't a defence for him. It's just how justice works.
LOL…Right on cue.

That depends on your definition of "falling apart".
Its definitely a positive for the Tates, and a negative for the prosecution
No argument there.
I just assume most cases have ebbs and flows.
Fell apart is a much more dramatic state of affairs.

I haven't been following this much or other celeb stories, but it mentioned someone from 1999 and such making the charges. Why wait roughly 25 years? He was already big back a few years ago to make some claim. Seems like a money grab in a sense. And I'm not defending him or others as I don't know the whole story nor seen all the evidence. And who's to say behind closed doors it wasn't consensual and they both indulged in stuff like weed, etc. when hanging out. Someone already said it could be political related since he's leaning towards the right now compared to before. Some of these celeb attacks that happen so many years after the fact get a bit annoying at times and seems like a money grab by someone who probably did agree to stuff then trying to be sly. Once again not to say he could have taken advantage of someone who legit said no and was under the influence because some men see it as a power trip, but if evidence lacks then it's a matter of he/she said.

Most people in his position and stuff who throw parties like this offer "treats" and I'd assume most adults know what happens in these parties unless someone is lead on and blindsided. Seems similar to those wild college parties that happen in America with booze and stuff and young women who aren't wanting certain action from someone have been taken advantage of.

That's how you characterize the rule of law?

You're in need of a basic civics course.
When and where did I defend rapists and sex offenders??

Please post my exact quote(s)
It seems that waiting for charges to be laid and the disclosure of evidence at a trial is viewed as supporting rapists these days.

Okay now apply that logic to ICE arresting US citizens and children on behalf of Trump
Cons believe that the law must protect them but not bind them, and the law must bind those they oppose but not protect them.

Also, this poster you quoted is not capable of understanding nuance, nor are they able to think in the abstract.
