What I remember about John Turner.
He didn't agree with Pierre's agenda and resigned from his cabinet as Finance Minister. I'm assuming he had more integrity than the currently resigned Sleazy Bill Morneau. Justin would be doing his party a big favour by resigning as well, letting Chrystia Freeland lead the Liberals into the next election.
During the 84 Election, I was living on Springhurst. The Metro Convention Center was a cool partying place back then. Within a week they held a Honeymooners convention and followed that up with a John Turner gathering. Anyone with that name was invited.
