Not my kind of music but he had a couple of good songs.

Singer George Michael has died aged 53, his publicist has said.
The star, who launched his career with Wham! in the 1980s and later continued his success as a solo performer, is said to have "passed away peacefully at home".
Thames Valley Police said South Central Ambulance Service attended a property in Goring in Oxfordshire at 13:42 GMT.
Police say there were no suspicious circumstances.

Michael, who was born Georgios Kyriacos Panayiotou in north London, sold more than 100m albums throughout a career spanning almost four decades.
Earlier this month it was announced that producer and songwriter Naughty Boy was working with Michael on a new album.
In a statement, the star's publicist said: "It is with great sadness that we can confirm our beloved son, brother and friend George passed away peacefully at home over the Christmas period.
"The family would ask that their privacy be respected at this difficult and emotional time. There will be no further comment at this stage."
In 2011, Michael postponed a series of concerts after being taken to hospital for treatment for pneumonia.
After treatment in a Vienna hospital, he made a tearful appearance outside his London home and said it had been "touch and go" whether he lived.
Doctors were said to have performed a tracheotomy to keep his airways open and he was unconscious for some of his spell in hospital.

Extremely talented artist that like so many got ruined by drugs.
RIP George.
He had so many good songs.
I've always liked this one.

I think in this case it maybe more connected to his gays lifestyle than drugs. He was arrested jerking off in a park and his partner from a few years ago died of aids. Probably a combination of the two. I agree too young to die.

Another talented artist leaving too early at 53. RIP George Michael.

This is always one of my favorites. My fav. moment is at 2:58 when he introduces Elton John.

Do rich people die of aids anymore? Magic Johnson has been living with it for decades. If you can afford the treatments, you can survive.

I agree, they do much better nowadays and last longer, but even some of the rich die no matter what. He looks bloated in the above picture, like cortisone. I was looking at his pictures when he came out of rehab last year and he also looks unrecognizable.

I think Elvis died of a combination of alcohol and pills and looked bloated at the end.

Wow just no. That guy was talented AF and such an icon in the music industry.
All the songs above are great, Careless Whisper stands out for me though..of course his stuff from WHAM as well..
But careless whisper, what a. Great club song to dance to with the girls.
And on CHRISTMAS too, weird irony, one of the great Christmas songs as well.
RIP George.

Latest reports have George dying of heart failure.
A recent picture shows that he's wasn't the George Michael we were used to seeing. He looks very overweight or bloated here. Who knows what was up with his health?

Looks like diabetes perhaps. That will bring on heart disease in a lot of cases.

I feel like part of my childhood died when Michael Jackson passed away, and I now feel the same with GM.

RIP
