Returning items on Amazon, then getting banned

I don't believe in the bannage though...Been prime for 2 years...i purchase average 2 items a week...returned a few items but normally i prefer exchanges...also got their cashback credit card a few weeks ago...if they check my history, i'm confident they want me as a customer than losing my business. easy to call them as well...in fact i processed a return last week worth $25 bucks and i got the email not to return and just keep the lures...then i purchased a grow tent last week no biggie...

rarely in my size lol I have a large difference in the measurements of my hips, waist, under bust and breasts and most of their stuff you can't mix and match sizes.

I carefully check out reviews of most things I buy. Have only returned once out of about 60 purchases. Keep in mind most stuff returned ends up in landfill. Im glad to hear they are banning people. Alot of people abuse it. Order clothes, wear it once, return it. Or order 4 pairs of shoes. Try them all on and then keep only 1. Its completely unresponsible. All 4 items had to be picked, packed, shipped and now they have to pay return shipping, unpack, look at it, figure out if it has been used. They cant sell the used stuff.

Every return costs Amazon a lot of money, since the product is usually thrown away or sold to liquidators for pennies on the dollar. You need to make several purchases to make up for that loss, and if you return too many items then there comes a point where it's no longer profitable for Amazon, and they will ban you.

Actually, returns don't really matter much to Amazon. Neither does the retail business. Retail is basically a loss leader to Amazon. Amazon's real business is with its other products like Amazon Web Services (AWS) that powers major web-sites. You surely heard that Parler was running off of AWS and they were shut down.

Amazon can afford to lose billions on retail because everything else picks up the slack.

I have made plenty of returns on amazon. Mostly because the product had bad quality or didn't work. But I have also had cheaper products which didn't work and I never bothered to process a return as that wasn't worth the effort. I have been long time prime customer of amazon so I guess I'm quite profitable for them.

Look what happened to ebay. They gave too much power the the buyers and sellers left.

sellers will also scam I bought something on ebay came a few weeks later package felt too small/light so I filmed myself opening the sealed package it was a random POS item the seller could prove it was delivered but my video proved they were scamming
