Despite everything that is going on, I did not neglect my duties as a wedding photographer.
Applicant: Hear you are looking to fill the Elves positions.
Me: Yes, we are looking to hire around 6 Elves. It's a temporary job from December 3 to about January 3, 2024. Are you interested?
Applicant: Yes, am interested. A temporary job fits in nicely with my school schedule as we are off almost all of December. What are the hours and pay like?
Me: Hours are long during the Christmas/New Year period. Pay is $50 an hour minimum. BTW: Which school are you attending?
Applicant: Sounds good. I'm a mature student at TMU (formerly Ryerson). Went back to uni for my PhD in Poly Science.
Me: Are you good with kids?
Applicant: Yes, I have 3 kids..
Me: Interview going great. Last step is I have to se you naked. It's SOP.

After a nice long dinner we got back down to business. This time Aubrey insisted she also be a participant.
