He actually has a Ukrainian friend from Donetsk, so he is more in-tune with reality. And you are under the rock brought to you by the states.
Only Canadians who know what people there actually think understand the scoop.
Which scoop - the one from FSB or from RT?

So let me get this straight.

You really don't believe he deserves his $200billion and royal palace,

What's up with that?
No.

And the people do not deserve Putin. Russia is better then Putin.

Putin’s a sick inhuman despot.

No bud. The scoop from Ukrainian Canadians from Donetsk region.. which president they want and why..
And as for Russians in Russia he stayed for 20 years because he is a great leader(for Russia with its issues) and there is not a single country in the world that can say with confidence that everything the president ever did has only the deepest interests of the country, regardless if you like it or not. For Russians all your “RT” comments sound like poor you who knows so much not from the source but from Russia slandering stories you hear on tv

Nonsense.

Crimea, like the Donbas, might rebel against their idiotic Russian overlords but there was zero chance that Ukraine or NATO would 'invade' Crimea.
Zero.

Putin is now losing, Donbas is the only area where he's not effectively retreating.
You don't know that. Ukraine agreed to neutrality when it left the Soviet Union. Crimea would never leave Russia, most people were glad. Then the idiot Ukrainians decided to cut off water to their own people, giving Russia more reasons to attack them and take land from them. Really, you can't fix stupid sometimes. Mariupol is about to collapse and the Ukrainian pocket in the east is encircled and close to collapse. So it seems both our propaganda sources have opposite opinions on what is happening. I guess we will only know in the fullness of time. BTW Ukraine now admits it has lost access to the Black Sea. I doubt it will ever get it back. I am amazed that people venerate Zelensky, he is presiding over the death of his nation, yet we cheer his hubris as he tries to suck us all in to WWIII.

You know, when I say anything good about Putin, people say, "would you want him as your leader"? I say FUCK NO. But Canada is a very different nation. And even when we have leaders like JT there as so many that call him weak and long for a dictator. In my view Putin is the right man for THAT job. He is a very tough and extremely intelligent person. BUT, just as the US is clueless about how to negotiate with him, he is equally clueless about how to negotiate with the USA. When Trump was President, he has someone who would at least listen, but when Trump got pilloried over just the POSSIBILITY of non-hostile relations with Russia, he realized that Russia and the West can never have more then peaceful co-existence. There is just too much cultural hatred and suspicion of Russia. So with no incentive to play ball with the West, here we are.

I know,eh? People here have no idea how big of a difference in absolutely anything between here and Russia, yet they believe Trudeau or the US Senate(far from genuine democratic organization) would be a better model for Russia.
Or all those economists we had as candidates before Outin who ran the country into corruption and powerty.. exactly like Ukraine is right now.. as a matter of fact that’s who needs a strong leader like Putin. Somebody exactly like him..

I don't think you grasp the situation. Russia will do fine, it is really the west that is worse off with Russia turning east. People like you suck up the propaganda about how poor and backwards Russia is. The West depends on Russia for a SHITLOAD of things, as a result the standard of living of the West will drop. BUT thankfully, Canada will do fine because we will get to replace many things Russia provides today. If Russia cut off the west entirely the whole semiconductor industry will have to stop production. So look out. Best to upgrade your phone now.
Russia’s GDP is smaller than Canada’s and It’s ruble is worth less than a penny. I would assume they are not “doing just fine”.

If sanctions carry on people in Russia will be eating potatoes and we will
be living with $3/litre gas. Hope we won't have to make nice with Putin after
the invasion.

Don’t get jealous:) gas is 49 cents a litter and there is lots of import replacing food alternatives that are 4 times cheaper on the shelves already that’s for those who think Putin has miscalculated something.

He had no choice, it was fight now or a much bigger war in the next 5 years. Why did the US invade Iraq and kill hundreds of thousand of people? Why did Canada send people to kill Afghanis? Why did Canada bomb Syria? Countries have interests and its sheer hypocrisy to say killing people to protect your national interest is wrong when we have done it ourselves. Also the civil war had been ongoing for 7 years consuming 14000 lives. Ukraine signed a deal to end it and reneged.. Zelensky and his western handlers are more to blame here. Including senile Biden
Did Russia not bomb the hell out of the Syrians? Are they still then considered to be innocent for doing so?

Anyway what have those wars got to do with the Donbas Russian Separatists that are battling to breakaway from Ukraine? The Separatists never ever lived up to the Minsk Agreement themselves and were being armed and trained by the Russian Military all along to carry out the sporadic attacks on the Ukrainian Army!! But explain why did Putin constantly lie about invading Ukraine, especially when the warning alarm bells were sounded by the NATO Alliance? Why did he then say that the Mission to Donbas was supposed to be "Peaceful" although we have seen him invading the whole of Ukraine and bombing the hell out of civilian establishments and residential buildings? The lives lost including downing of a civilian aircraft was Russia and the Separatists being totally at fault in the Donbas Region. In June of 2021 Biden and Putin agreed to pursue a diplomatic effort to resolve the situation in the Donbas Region. In fact Ukraine fulfilled the Russian demand to withdraw the controversial draft law for the reintegration of the Donbas and Crimea Regions. On February 16th, 2022 the Russian spokesperson said that the LPR and DPR Recognition was not on the books as it was not in keeping with the Minsk Agreements. But lo and behold, on the 21st February Russia declared the regions as "People's Republics". A day later Putin came up with that disgusting statement that the Minsk Agreements no longer existed. It was no surprise that he sent the troops in to try and bomb the hell out of Ukrainians as well as attempt to establish an Autocratic Puppet Ukrainian Government with the abolition of Democracy in that nation.

But show us your evidence where the 14000 lives lost were just the "Russian" Separatists" and no Ukrainian civilians or Army personnel either living in that region or trying to defend the Residents of Donbas?

Keep smoking the crack comrade. It is too much to unplug the toilet with the amount of shit and drivel you just put into that one paragraph. We don't long for a dictator. Putin is very tough and extremely intelligent in what way? The Russian economy has done nothing since he came to power over his proles. What product has anyone bought that was manufactured in Russia? When Trump was president he has someone who would at least listen? to what his bullshit? What possible dialogue would those two have that we didn't already see. Trump sucking Putin's cock and thinking he was being respected for it. Putin doesn't know how to negotiate with the USA because he has nothing to offer. He has gas and oil to sell to Western Europe and that is it. The West had no intentions of invading Russia because it is and always has been a frozen shit hole.
Probably only stirred up this shit because he was bored.

See even you dispute it. It was not a gift it was an administrative decision.
Similarly, it is time for India to repossess not only Kashmir but the whole of Pakistan and Bangla Desh that was an "Administrative Decision" by the British Government.
Same with Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macau ceding to China. Israel being swallowed by Palestine. All part of some very complicated "Administrative Decisions"!!

Next, they will be attacking Alaska to get it back from the 99 year lease through a ‘peaceful exercise’. Gimme a break with your explanations.
Alaska was a sale. It was sold to the USA as a) it was hard to defend and b) to fuck with the British.

Just look at how many different Oblasts Crimea has been assigned to over time. It was Musical Oblast. The Russian claim to it is solid. Time to move on.
