I have just taken the stance that If we are all free to choose our pronouns, then I am free to boycott pronouns altogether.
So, my chosen pronouns is a complete lack of pronouns.
Neither She/He/They/Them. Just nothing.
Others are not allowed to refer to me at all unless I am present.
That is my choice.

Good for you. Why are we even going down this road anyway?

So, asking a co-worker to identify their religion, sexual orientation, marital status, or even "where are you from" can be grounds for a discrimination lawsuit, but everyone must identify their pronouns?
Since when is asking a fellow co-worker “where are you from?” Is grounds for discrimination? Grounds for what? A lawsuit between two employees? I think not

What do you think of business cards with rainbow colours in the upper and/or lower borders to show inclusiveness and diversity?

My initial impression is that this person moonlights as a clown at children's parties.

If this is not part of a corporate logo and fits a marketing plan ( eg Benjamin Moore Paints) then I would think that your company is distracted by social causes. It's a business card - that is all I'm interested in.

If you're just talking to a fellow co-worker, friend etc those questions are not a problem. But if your an employer, asking those questions is not allowed.

I remember it being on application forms. Maybe not anymore. I admittedly haven’t applied for a job since I was a teen.

It was the “co-workers” in the post that through me off though.

Ok, so my old uni roommate from Singapore got back to me. After a bit of reminiscing about old times his answer to pronouns was short and blunt. "No, absolutely no disclosure of gender on business cards."

Like I said, who gives a fuck about anything to do with the issue.

Yes, normally in the business world, we like to know how to refer to each other.

I would think that the company is proceeding in a way that they think is best for their business. Or are all the anti-woke people also anti-capitalist?

And what if I don't identify my pronouns? What happens then?
I think you become persona non grata in your company. You will never get a promotion again and maybe even fired from your job. You become unemployable.

My old uni roommate who is ethnic Singaporean said that Asians know the difference between a man and a woman so no need to put pronouns on business cards. It is only only westerners who are gender confused.

How is that related ? You are anti-woke and thus anti capitalist because you chose to focus your business on the premise all your employees are equal. ? In addition, you do not celebrate anyone's social choices as part of your business plan ? Anti -capitalist ??
