I believe you can find a myriad of religions to fill your need
Okay, but you forgot to answer the first question I posted. I'll repeat it just in case you missed it.

Are you saying that women can't spread the message of Jesus’ like a man can?

No you question was asking if I saw them as competant and that is a moot point in that I support the TRADITIONS of the Church.

Then can I assume that you are against the use of the english language in the Catholic church?

Traditionally it was only spoken in Latin. A true traditionalist would never want it's religion ruined by the english language.

Your point is lost to ignorance. The change was to the local language. Be it English, Spanish, french, Polish, Italian and yes Arabic or any other local language.

No, I am saying that you would support that kind of change, a true traditionalist is against using any other language other than latin. I am pointing out that, you are against a change that would allow women to spread God's message.

A language is unique to that area they speak it, but females will always be 50% of our population where ever humans are.

Tell me why you believe that women aren't capable of spreading Jesus' message the way a man can?

I dont know about you guys, but anyone who preaches about love, compassion and tolerance on one hand. But then decides to decree that homosexuals should be punished and women shouldn't be given the rights that they have seems mighty hypocritical to me.

If you really want a spiritual leader to look up to, then read some of the Dali Lama's stuff. Atleast he's consistant with the message.

As for the Pope, I think he wants to do good, but the ways of the church are so entrenched in tradition that there's no room to grow with the modern world.

I expect any crimes you elude to should be addressed by the criminals.
Shouldn't all Catholics be suspected child rapists and treated as such for the safety of the children, just as you would have all Muslims treated as suspected terrorists for the safety of the west?

But this is a minor break through though, you have finally come to at least a small realization that crimes are the responsibility of the criminal, and not the race / religion of the criminal.

And before you claim that Catholic leaders don't preach child rape, you are only partly right ... they don't openly preach it, but when the child rapists only "punishment" is being moved to a new parish where they can practise their rape with "fresh" victims, and then only when people start to complain, the "sermon" is loud and clear.

The change to local language made it easier for converts to understand the Mass. Every city I have been to offers atleast one Latin Mass for those who miss it, each Sunday.

Shuld all Catholics be considered................?

Not at all.

Should all muslims be considered Arab?

Should all pizza bakers be considered Italian?

Should all sucide bombers be considered islamic??????????? (well ok this one is a qualified yes)

Pope John Paul allowed Saudi Arabia to pay 20 billion to build a mosque beside the Vatican.

Yet, Saudi Arabia doesn't allow any Christian Churches or bibles in Saudi Arabia.

That's the problem with Muslims. Biggest hypocrites on the face of the earth. They declare their religion a religion of peace yet it seems to inspire hatred and violence. They demand rights in other countries but in their own they have capital punishment should one convert to Christianity.

These people are really something else.

Woolf regarding pedophilia,

its also rampant in Mosques all around the world. Its just that its politically incorrect to write stories on it.

By the way, Mohammed was a pedophile. His wife was 9 years old. His father in law must have been proud.

A change by having female priests may make it easier for non converts to convert to the Catholic relegion. Being 50% of the population globally, shouldn't every city have a female priest?

Please help me understand, why YOU think a female preist can't spread the word of Jesus? Telling me that you are a traditionalist doesn't help me understand when traditions can be changed to grow with the times.

Saudi Arabia and Iran are exceptions , first let US to stop support for dictators and meddling in these contries and then complain . may be you can come up with afghanistan

so if some Muslim country like US was running the same affairs and foreign policy in Europe for 50 years , would then a mosque would have been allowed in Rome ? I doubt.

Name the other countries in which capital punishment is enact for converting (out of 60 or so) ?

And your point being what? That if Muslims do it and Christians do it, then the Christian doing it is more acceptable than the Muslim doing it?

Have you ever checked what marriage laws and norms were during the time of Mohammed? Are you aware that some states in the USA still don't have a minimum age of marriage?

Still not right, but then again, one would think that married Popes wouldn't be acceptable either, or there existed a Pope I wouldn't be surprized to find registerd here on TERB:

pope Alexander VI (1492-1503) who had seven illegitimate children as a cardinal, which he openly acknowledged. As the newly-elected 61 year-old pontiff, he had an affair with the 19-year -old Giulia Farnese, who was herself a married woman.
I guess this means that both Christianity and Islam have been completely discredited. Or maybe it means that both religions are composed of humans, and humans are not perfect, so you have to judge them individually as humans and not blame whole religions and races for the sins of some members.

Just because I'm Pope doesn't mean I don't get to have fun.

It is easy

I support the Church and its TRADITIONS
To change with the times would be a mockery of the foundations of the Church.

The failure of any institution to change with the times is a recipe for its' eventual downfall.

When a group pannics and attempts to change with the times, rather then sticking to traditional beliefs; will lead them to failure.

It is in long term values and beliefs we find stability.
