I guess we should also all forget all the deaths caused by catholics in the name of God

the spanish inquisition
the crusades
the hundreds of thousands dead when they came to offer religion to America with Colombus and others
No one is forgeting them

I do however think that several hundred years and modern technology makes people more educated and enlightened, when it comes to it being wrong to firebomb Churches and behead people.

Why? Because I bother to educate myself on historical facts?
You show your unintelligence with this statement. If having an education is your defense you are truly a moron. Hitler, Mao, Pol Pot, Ted Bundy, Paul Bernardo, et al. all had excellent "educations" they were, or still are, tremendous assholes. Fortunately for us you are just a politically-correct-know-it-all-shit-for-brains-turd.

it will be useful to find out the number of deaths caused in the name of Catholism and the number caused in the name of Muslim???

the sad part about the result of that info is that you would have thought that we would know better by now.....

it depends on how would you charactirize the soldier that invaded Iraq, Vietnam, Afghanistan, these were countries that are not catholics (this just to name a few minor incidents) and i am not even going to go near Hiroshima and Nagasaki

You original post was to compare the Catholic's killings as opposed to Muslim. You implied as religious motivated killings.

The Soldiers are the not for religion but for Country.

Now compare

Or China and Korea before WW2, either, right? Or The Library of Alexandria, way back when too. Or Galileo under House arrest before anyone was an egg. Get real.

Just blame George W. Bush Jr. His resignation will be a benefit for all. Much like everyone was helped by the destruction of the Taliban in Afghanistan, it is Bush Jr. that lets them run wild, still.

one could argue that the Muslims are beheading (granted this is more barbaric) soldiers, reporters, civilians etc in retaliation to the occupation being made on their land.......just because the USA did not go into these countries with a bible in front of them that does not mean they went in for country instead in my opinion they just can't keep their nose out other people's business......again Vietnam, Iraq, Panama, Afghanistan,................btw if you come to the TERB party in October here in Hamilton i would buy you a beer and compare notes in this and other topics, i like the way you think and express your views

You have to admit that President Dick Chaney would be a bit more agressive

But what does that have to do with my thin skinned friends?

Let's not forget that Hitler was a "Christian", and Germany was a "Christian" nation.
Which Church did he lead and order his followers to kill in Gods' name?

Quick, name the leader of the Church of Islam?
Why?

Sems that most follow local leaders

East end Hobbiest
So then, what difference does it make whether Hitler was the head of a church or just a "local leader"?

When someone from the Muslim world does something, you hold all of Islam responsible ... when someone from the Christian world does something, you say Christianity is not to be held responsible.

Because hitler was not an imam.

You are trying to make hitler out to be a religious leader

He was Germanys leader and not too stable.
