Gas is up again and it is not April 1. Why isn't Pee Pee going after the oil companies for their greed? I am only asking you because you are oil and gas.
Because the oil companies aren't the ones taxing the shit out of us.

On the slopes of Mount Parnassus, Greece
Twat is doing this to create a no win for Justin. He stops the hike April 1 PEE PEE claims the victory, he goes through with it, PEE PEE harps on the higher cost. In fact he's forcing Justin to not back down wanting to run on the carbon tax like his idol Trump wants to run on the border. PEE PEE is a POS!!! A piss stain!! A face that even a mother wants to punch!!!

What JT supporters here haven't accepted yet is the Carbon Tax is the Liberal Paty's GST.

And what happened to the Conservative party, despite Kim Campbell taking over could very likely happen to them.

You're forgetting who the weaker and bigger piece of shit of the two is is.
Why would you say that?

Possible outcomes.
1) JT caves and dreams up some virtuous sounding horseshit about these being rough times. And crushing peons is not a good idea. Doing so will sewer whatever little credibility he has. And cost him a lot of support/vote from his climate supporters. According to polls, a lot are already unhappy with their handling.

2) JT holds his position. a win for PP when he spins it as the Liberals/left being the elitist tone deaf lefties they are. Not willing to let Canadians decide and have their say.

3) it goes to a non confidence vote. Singh becomes the deciding factor who is screwed either way he goes. But has already played it safe once.

4) Singh flushes the Liberals, or he doesn’t. If he doesn’t, then the Liberals on April 16th 2024 drop their budget. Always confidence vote matters.

you sir had a choice and #2 x 2

Singh is a politician. First and foremost. He, like the Liberals and Cons are all acutely aware of the polls for the last 6 months. They all have their own pollsters ( even the liberals own internal polls have been brutal for a year) , data miners, and strategists. The Liberals and Singh have been tied at 21-24% for two months now.

there is virtually nothing. Nothing on the landscape and horizon that might be good news for the Liberals. A lot of storms that might roll in. A long proven track record of brain farts and scandals so even more are a safe bet… A possible Trump win and Boomers starting to leave the workforce…….and hammer healthcare.

If it remains the status quo for another year. And Canadians continue to get reamed by things the Liberals cant control, or can, can be blamed for or can’t. PP is going to skewer them both.

As for Carbon taxes
Only fanatical lefties still defend them. Even the PBO has nothing good to say about them. But like Drummond and experts in Ontario.

Elitist always know everything and better.
Even on the topic of rebates. And even assuming the horseshit is true which it isn’t. There’s the present and forward value of money. In layman’s terms and worded in a simple ways anyone should be able to grasp without complicated math and formulas. . money in hand usually Trumps money down the road.

Especially when peons everywhere the lefties claim to champion have mouths to feed, bills to pay, visas and rent/mortgages
TODAY.

But being the well off in the gta. Who have good jobs cheap nat gas, alternatives from feet and bikes to busses, subways and everything they could want, who don’t have to worry about such things…and the … blind, know everything, head in the sand, drunk on koolaid, self centered people they are, . They can’t even see/think of that.

So that means the oil&gas industry increased their share by 60% since taxes didn't change.

really?

having trouble with grade 5 level mathematics again are you?

the price in 2022 (post # 41) $1.84.8 / litre
the price March 18/ 2024 $1.57 /litre

so Einstein , since(as you state) taxes did not change explain how the oil&gas industry increased their share by 60% ???

missed the grade 5 class on pie charts did you?

again taxes exceed the combined wholesale margin and retail margin
not mentioned are the royalty (federal and Provincial) taxes applied at the wellhead (this is likely embedded in the cost of crude oil)

why do you constantly post intentionally misleading lies ?
has this despicable personality disorder been a problem since birth or just since you discovered the internet?

a no win for Justin was created when he decided to intentionally make life more expensive for Canadians , so he could virtue signal @ international conferences

a no win for Justin was created when he decided he could impose a ponzi scheme carbon tax on Canadians

self inflicted wounds by Justin Trudeau

Justin Trudeau is a stupid man who never should have been even considered for any political office let alone Prime Minister

I will admit, PeePee has found the hammer that will bring the Libs down if they do not do something before the next election to strangle the PISS out of the stain called PEE PEE.

Pierre Poilievre has called for a non-confidence vote of the Trudeau government and wants an election ASAP

And it will fizzle out like all Pollievre ideas. This is the desperation of someone who doesn't want to campaign on ideas (he has none) but to sneak into power by stunts. His popularity is at its peak and he knows that as a scheduled election draws closer it will plummet when he has to explain how tax cuts for the rich and slashing social programs that offset inflation will help the average person.

I don’t think given their obvious slack jaws, and how dumb founded silent they are… Given polls the past few months. The vast majority of Canadians don’t want to wait. Want them gone.

Mr Jagmeet.
Meet very hard rock, and very hard place

As one famous Con said to a Liberal.
“You sir, had a choice”
Yeah, that Con was Lyin' Brian who was a crook and sold Canadian jobs out to pasture and nixed federal housing development. How's that working out for us? He had a choice

Canada is considered a first world nation, it's supposed to lead by example. Unfortunately no one is listening. India is building a car-centric airport, no public transit in sight.

We are doomed.

How can you defend the indefensible though??

Trudeau is a dumbass. Half of Canada cant even put food on the table, and whats his solution.........more taxes!
Carbon tax will only cause more inflation and more poverty.
Trudeau needs to step down ASAP
The inflation problem is all to do with the jump in the price of gas two years ago. Once it fell so did inflation. Meanwhile the carbon tax puts more money in most Canadians' pocket than it takes. That's anti-inflationary. It's Con premiers who are driving up prices, especially Ford importing foreigners to fill clown colleges who drive up rent and house prices. It's Ford-flation. Or Moe refusing to submit carbon tax which will mean poorSaskatchewaners don't get the carbon tax refund.

the idea of canceling the carbon tax is a good idea

but to sneak into power by stunts.
like claiming taxation can control climate

His popularity is at its peak
that's more a function of wide spread disgust with Trudeau

and he knows that as a scheduled election draws closer it will plummet when he has to explain how tax cuts for the rich and slashing social programs that offset inflation will help the average person.

Inviting a real Nazi into parliament, his underlings shaking hands with a Jew hating Hamas supporter(Joly) and yet to explain Chinese election meddling and Winnipeg biolab involvement. Reality bites I`d say.
