The Liberals attacked the GST but kept it anyway when they could
have removed it.
Unlike the PC party's GST putting a lid on the Carbon Tax hike or even
scrapping it altogether would hardly affect the government's budget
planning as seriously. Defense of the almost universally loathed tax
among the Liberals will be largely hailed by the three climate stooges:
Trudeau, Guilbeault and Wilkinson. Aside from making Trudeau loose
face and leaving Guilbeault the lunatic a depressed man it is in the interest
of the Liberals to spare the nation from awaiting the Conservatives to
come to their rescue by bravely dumping their three climate clowns.
So by that logic, Peepee can't really do much about the bill it's Ford who will do the work..so what are you afraid of Peepee for?
It is more likely Ford, a Conservative leader will bow down to a Federal leader if the Federal leader wins a majority than a Liberal Provincial leader. I hope I am wrong, I really do but if I'm not, I won't even be able to say with a smile "Rich, you dumb fuck, I told you so" because this board may be banned from existing.

Ford will not bow down to a federal leader...at the end of the day....Ford prioritize the votes he's getting and as a liberal province, his best chance is to appease ontario not Canada.

They are making money off of something that as a society we needed to get to where we are and need to further progress. To think how many lives have been saved because of emergency vehicles than require fuel to function. Now if pollution is killing that many people each year maybe we should lock down business and gatherings for 2 weeks(2years) until the pollution is completely eradicated and if that doesn't work. Ask bug pharma to develop a vaccine that reduces the transmission and effects of pollution.

He thinks he can save the world. If I was him I`d be seriously concerned with the RCMP report today citing growing civil unrest and the real possibility of real action like so many events in Europe. it will be an enormous challenge for the next PM to down size govt to a sustainable size i.e. non deficit
then it will be another enormous challenge to start whittling down the massive and irresponsible debt Justin Trudeau accumulated
just like ontario is financially handicaped because of irresponsible loonie left borrowing / spending (Dalton the dummy & Granny Wynne).
why is it you expect govts to run perpetual deficits, when you know that you can not manage your finances in the same way ?
