The logistics of this is going to be tricky and difficult to accomplish.

If the temperature dips below -70 what then?.....Discard?......Is there constant monitoring?

I'd hate to see people get the vaccine thinking their protected when they are not.

I think they approved the wrong vaccine first, the moderna and Astrazeneca is much more easy to use. How the hell are they supposed to get the pfizer one in long term facilities? I'd be worried of getting the pfizer one on the account that it takes very little to screw it up.

That's what I was thinking as well. Seems like a large margin of error.

There are thermal sensors in use during transportation.

I believe that the vaccine is still good for 5 days after coming out of the deep freeze.

could be wrong, but I think they approved the 1st vaccine that was submitted 1st for review. I agree that if Moderna was submitted 1st, but I think Pfizer got in 1st
