You would probably take Miroslav Frycer over Carbonneau.I’ll take Bernie Nichols over Carbonneau...

Maybe better. He hasn't fucked up yet.His odds are about the same as Marc Bergevin getting nominated in the builders category.
Well neither but Frycer's best season was better than Carbonneau's best season. You would probably take Miroslav Frycer over Carbonneau.
Yeah, Marchand is a top 15 player (maybe even higher) in the league. He can score, play a two-way game and gets under the skin of opponents. Statistically, he shines. I won't say he's a lock, but I think he has a pretty good chance of getting the call. His last 5 years have been crazy good. First or second team all star 4 times, top 11 in MVP voting every single year:
The thing is that he is not slowing down. He has not slowed down at all at the age of 31, 32 and now at 33. He probably has at least another 3 solid years in him to get some of those counting stats up.
He is a clown prick though but that won’t keep him out.
They're going to need some extra bronze for his bust to make sure that they get the nose right.Yeah, Marchand is a top 15 player (maybe even higher) in the league. As a Leafs fan, I hate that SOB. As a dispassionate observer, you cannot deny his talent and production....The silent kisser endorsing the face licker.
Gillies was a very good player for the Isles and an instrumental part of their 4 Stanley Cups. But Larmer was a far more skilled and talented player than him. Just look at their career regular season point totals, there's really no comparison. There is that but also Larmer had more goals and points in both regular season and playoffs, won an individual trophy and played in two all star games which Gillies did neither...Gillies did win 4 Stanley Cups but Larmer did win one.
When you think of it, Larmer had a much better career...
Gillies' size and aggressiveness opened up a lot of ice for Trottier and especially Bossy. The 3 complemented each other perfectly. He played a very different game than Larmer.Gillies was a very good player for the Isles and an instrumental part of their 4 Stanley Cups. Gillies was replaced on the Trottier/Bossy line halfway thru the cup years with John Tonelli...Clark Gillies became a slow ineffective player.Gillies' size and aggressiveness opened up a lot of ice for Trottier and especially Bossy. Who belongs in the HHOF more...Steve Larmer or Kim St Pierre?Gillies was a very good player for the Isles and an instrumental part of their 4 Stanley Cups. Larmer 1,012 points in 1,006 games played
Gillies 697 points in 958 games played
Larmer is probably one of the best hockey players not in the HOF.
In this woke era they have to make room for women. I get that and to be honest I enjoy the international games against the Americans.Who belongs in the HHOF more...Steve Larmer or Kim St Pierre?
Another player who played a different game was Rick Tocchet.Gillies' size and aggressiveness opened up a lot of ice for Trottier and especially Bossy. The 3 complemented each other perfectly. He played a very different game than Larmer.
Of course, my suggestion would be to take out the players who don’t belong and replace them with more deserving inductees...can you think of anybody that should get whacked? In this woke era they have to make room for women. The CDN women always play with so much effort and pride. It's back and forth action usually from start to finish.
But I don't think that if you add a woman that should mean that a NHL player should have what would have been his spot taken.
Just make allowances for more inductees.
Bob Pullford?Of course, my suggestion would be to take out the players who don’t belong and replace them with more deserving inductees...can you think of anybody that should get whacked?
I have a buddy that played jr in Kingston with Bernie Nichols...told me he got fucked every night, some times before and after a game, on the road too...just thought I’d share that little bit of info for fun.If you want to argue that Federko is better than Nicholls I’ll buy the argument. That is more than fair. He was also the face of a franchise for an extended period that Bernie was not.
Not sure if you are claiming that Federko was great and did not need others to be great. I would say neither was ever great.
I don’t think either met the low threshold of the hall of fame but agreed that if I have to pick one it is certainly Federko.
The answer is Turgeon, Nicholls, Damphousse and Roenick...and I like all them for the HOF than Phil fucking Kessell.Did anybody mention Phil Kessel? He's 34 and should reach 1,000 points next season. He could end out with about 1,100-1,200 points.
Has anybody not made the HoF with 1,200 points?

But Nicholls didn't play for the Leafs. Playing for the Leafs always enhances a player's profile.Bernie Nicholls
