David Pastrnak has a chance to join exclusive company Tuesday if he can score his 50th point in his 49th NHL postseason game.

The Boston Bruins forward has six points (two goals, four assists) in six games this postseason, giving him 49 points (19 goals, 30 assists) in 48 NHL postseason games. If he scores one point in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Second Round against the Tampa Bay Lightning at Scotiabank Arena in Toronto (7 p.m. ET; NBCSN, CBC, SN, TVAS), he would become the seventh active NHL player to score 50 points before playing 50 postseason games.

I haven't watched every game but the Blues lost a lot of toughness when they let Patrick Maroon go and the Lightning gained a lot of toughness when they acquired Maroon.

I'm trying to watch every Bruin-Lightning game. The 7-1 game to-night was an anomaly. Doubt there will be another blowout the rest of the series, but who knows with Rask out.

Also, trying to catch every Islander-Flyer game as well. Looks like Islanders don't miss JT at all.

Ryan Reaves struggled with what he wanted to do as he lay in bed Wednesday night.

The Vegas Golden Knights forward knew NBA players had boycotted playoff games to protest systemic racism and police brutality, after a white police officer shot a Black man, Jacob Blake, at least seven times in the back Sunday in Kenosha, Wisconsin. He knew WNBA, Major League Baseball and Major League Soccer players had boycotted games as well.

And he knew the Golden Knights were scheduled to play the Vancouver Canucks in Game 3 of the Western Conference Second Round on Thursday at Rogers Place in Edmonton, the West hub city.

I did notice something while on a Jays commercial break, second intermission, Ron McLean has developed a coward's slouch. He agreed with Cherry and deserves to get his ass canned at the end of the season.

They did it without Stamkos. They couldn't have done it without Hedman though. Brayden Point was spectacular. For those with a name starting with D and lacks awareness he is small and doesn't hit. Kucherov doesn't hit either and I would say he's one of their most important players these playoffs.

TB made changes outside of their core. Players like Maroon and company. Allowed the skill players to just focus on skill. Leafs like to mould the team like Tampa so I can see them looking to do same. Keep core of skill and augment with more brawn.

I was responding to the above quote when I said that the "Bruins will be back". I think they will still be competitive.

But it appears that "88" disagrees. All he ever says is that I'm "busted" again, whatever that means.

With the Bruin's management record of excellence, they will find a way via trade/draft/free agents to replace retiring players with new quality players.
