The Colts chose him #4 because of his physical skills and supposed comparison with Jalen Hurts. But Hurts played a ton and very well under intense pressure at Alabama and Oklahoma.
Robert Griffin III. Couldnt throw so started running more. Got hurt. And that was the end of his career. And he was a Heisman winner at Baylor and selected 2nd.
As for Josh Allen, his bone headed running is going to end his career as well.
Just like Cam Newton and within a year or 2 Lamar Jackson.
A little surprised the Cowboys traded for him, they have a really good back-up in Cooper Rush. This will give time for Trey to develop and maybe the Cowboys will move on from Dak Prescott in a couple years, like the Raiders did with Derek Carr...I'm just speculating.
Das Prescott should take the Cowboys to the Super Bowl this year. That is minimum. If he does, then the trade for Trey is moot and they can trade him or Rush. If he doesnt, he is gone. Then the starting QB will be between Rush and Lance.
If you win games everyone forgets how you mess up the draft. They stole Purdy so they are even.
In terms of Lance himself, they gave up a lot more to get him than they got back for him.
