Jets sign RB Dalvin Cook on a 1-yr deal, Cook is a top ten back in the league with great speed. The Jets are all in and will be in the playoff hunt, the AFC East is the best division in the league.
Week 1. MNF - Bills vs Jets...can't wait.

The Bills play the Jets twice. Salivating

This will come as a surprise to many. But the Colts brass seem to have seen enough positives in Anthony Richardson to make him the starter. Interesting
I'm not surprised at all, the Colts weren't going to win anything anytime soon, so let the future begin now. They know there are going to be a lot of grow pains and a lot of Int's and loses this year. They also got tired of bringing in the veteran(washed-up) QB's, for a quick fix. Along with his mistakes, Richardson is going to make some WOW plays, and get the fans excited for the future.

I don't think Richardson will be a bust, no doubt he is going to struggle at times in pass situations. All rookie QB's do, but he has elite speed with a 6'4'' 245lbs frame. A lot of people are comparing him to Cam Newton, except he's faster than Cam ever was and might have a better arm. All indications are he's a hard-worker, will to learn and coachable. There are going to be a lot of ups and downs this year, but he has something you can't teach....speed, and speed kills!

That speed can kill by getting him injured. Cuts both ways. What Richardson has going for him and the reason Colts drafted him so high is his head coach Shane Steichen was the Eagles OC who coached Jalen Hurts into an elite QB. So Richardson will make designated runs and, hopefully, will go through his progression before running if play breaks down and there is an outlet. Hopefully, he will not follow the model of Lamar Jackson who runs when his first option is eliminated and gets hurt frequently

Steep devaluation of running backs. Zeke Elliot went to the Patriots for just $4 million. Even elite RBs like Saquon Barkley are getting no more than $10 million. They are pounded hard in college. By the time they get to the NFL, their productive playing years is only 4 years or less in many cases.

Ugg. Dolphins LT Armstead went down with a right leg injury during joint practice with the Texans.
They need a good back up at LT. He never plays a full season.
And they better extend Wilkens contract. He is a great D-lineman and needs to stay.

Clowney signed a 1 year contract with the Ravens.
What's the over/under for how many games he plays?

Clowned has not done since he came into the league as one of the top picks. He has no influence in how games the ravens will win.

You are correct he never lived up to the hype, he did have a few "decent" years, but much of his career has been defined by injuries and over-hype. People were expected a J.J. Watt type of career for Clowney, but turned more into a J.J. Walker from Goodtimes career.
Another player to watch is DE Chase Young of the Commanders, he was a high pick with a lot hype out of Ohio St. This might be a make or break year for him, like Clowney injuries and hype so far have defined his career, but unlike Clowney, Chase Young still has time to turn it around.

Maybe Hamlin should retire before something more serious than a ca happens although a ca is pretty serious.
