My point stands. There is essentially no difference between 31 - 26 and 31 - 27. So the smart call is to take a chance on 2 point conversion.
Seattle wasnt as dominant as you make it. They got 7 points off a muffed punt catch.
I agreed with you about attempting a 2 point play. I was yelling at the TV at the time.

I didn't state that the Seattle team was "dominant", I stated the following:

"Wouldn't have mattered though as the LA defence simply would not have been able to stop Seattle with about 2 minutes left if the game was tied 31 -31 as evidenced by Seattle getting 3 first downs and basically running out the clock as they did.

Unable to stop Seattle on 3rd downs. Unable to force Darnold turnovers. Unable to wrap up tackles. DBs and LBs consistently 'juked out' and/or fooled by Seattle pass schemes thus out of position to make pass defence plays on Seattle WRs

Both defences scorched. The difference being zero turnovers and smothering pass defence by Seattle on 3rd and 4th down for LA inside the Seattle 10 yard line."

Everything in the above quoted is factual.

I wanted LA to win.

I was happy, as I really wanted Seattle to win.
NE brings a much better defence and they also survived a better defence than what Seattle can bring.

rooting for Seattle, I never understood why Pete Carroll called the pass play at the goal line instead of giving the ball to Marshawn Lynch. I hope they give a SB ring to Marshawn if they do win this year (knocking on wood).

and we all hate Patriots of course. Belichick didn't get the votes for HOF on his first year, karma for all the cheatings.

I kinda figured it was the media getting their true revenge for the awful treatment BB gave them over the years.

Kinda silly to not vote in the GOAT of head coaches, but I dont care, I hate the Pats.

The Seahawks have the #1 defense in the league and they have a better offense.
I think this is going to be a lot like last years SB, no contest, Seahawks roll and win by double digits.

I kinda agree as apparently drake maye has been sick for the past week or so, fighting a really bad flu bug.

I'll even go one step further and think it'll be a blowout, like the seahawks winning by 40 and pulling most of their starters in the 4th quarter.

The Rams sliced and diced Seattle's defence.

Seattle's pash rush was AWOL against the Rams.

Patriots defence has played much, much better than the Rams defence plus they can actually play pass defence unlike the Rams.

You are giving way too much credit to Seattle.

Was not impressed by their defence at all, so my question is, can a mistake prone Darnold not "give the game away" in the face of a much better defence than the Rams were able to field?

I don't see that happening. The Patriots are legit. Good run defense and a top tier CB in Gonzalez. I think the Pats will do enough offensively to extend drives. I could see Seattle winning by a TD but not in a blowout. My best bet is the under 45.5.

I wouldn't really say they are legit though. Like what did they do in this year's playoffs to prove that they're still not an average team coasting off of schedule? They beat the chargers (notorious for playoff choking since the air coryell days), beat a texans team that had a ~5% chance of making the playoffs 8 weeks into the season, then beat the broncos using a QB who had started 4 prior games total (winning that game by only 3 points). Unless darnold throws 4 picks I don't see this being close at all.

The victory over the Texans was far more impressive than you give them credit for. Houston had won 11 games in a row. Patriots handed them their asses on a platter. I think this game is going to be closer than you think. And trust me when I say I want Seattle to win. I'm so sick of Boston area teams winning championships.

So that's the thing, 11 (technically 10) wins in a row seems impressive but then you look at the teams they actually beat. They won against the colts twice, both times using QBs who will probably never play in the NFL again. They beat the titans/cardinals/raiders. Oh, and they beat two perennial playoff chokers in the chargers/jaguars. Really the only "impressive" win they had was vs a chiefs team that looked terrible all season.

I'm still not convinced that the patriots are a good team this year, and doubt I ever will be. They're a lot like the phillip rivers chargers where their stats look impressive but then you realize how much better they should've been when up against the teams they faced.

Doing pork chops and chicken wings, this style: https://mykoreankitchen.com/oven-baked-korean-style-chicken-wings/

With garlic mashed and grilled cauliflowers.

But this year my kids are getting older, there will be only 3 or 4 friends of them...

Looking to listen to Bad Bunny because I like latino music. It's nothing political I am flying back to mexico again soon :)

Best halftime show for me is Shakira and JLo at 2020 Super Bowl.
There was enough hip thrusting and booty shaking to cause a minor earthquake.
Bad Bunny made a guest appearance
