The game has passed by generalists like John Harbaugh and Mike Tomlin, if the Pete Carroll debacle at the Raiders is anything to go by.
What teams need is a quarterback guru like Sean McVay (Rams), Ben Johnson (Bears) and the old curmudgeon Sean Payton (Broncos) or a defensive guru like Mike Gravel (Pats) or Demeco Ryans (Texans)
Mike Vrabel.

I'm changing one of my picks. I'm taking Rams over Bears. Bears are missing two key players a competent LT and LB T.J. Edwards. Not much of a pass rush which should allow Stafford to pick apart the secondary. Its a tough call because the Rams D has been subpar for the 2nd half of the season. But they should do enough to get the win.
its gonna cost ya mr. d. same thing in SF game, too many big name players out. i think the line opened at 3.5, went up to 6, people thinking SFhad no chance. i like the BEARS on the money line and plus the pts at home.

You may be right. The weather forecast isn't exactly giving me confidence in the Rams. I do like the Bears to cover 3.5. I just think their defense is the worst of the teams that are left in the playoffs that Stafford should have the time to pick it apart. And the Rams can also run the ball with Kyren Williams and Blake Corum.

I wanna see the Bills win but I can't see it happening against a solid Denver run game and a very good defense all around. Josh Allen can only do so much. It will be a close affair but Broncos will end up victorious.

oh wow.
1981 is well before my time .I only began following NLF since the Bills were resurrected under McDermott.
Honest question : how different are today’s NFL playoffs from the 1980’s ?

😂
Am I crazy for thinking the Pats take those game easily ?

Half an hour away !
Can I ask who you choosing in Bill-Denver game?
I really hope the Bills win!

That's why I never do sports betting. I'm a true Bills fan, but your post makes a lot of sense.

Not good for Bills fans.

That Allen play was puzzling. He's smarter than that. McDermott's call to go aggressive in the last 40 seconds was unwise. You're down one score and you get the ball to start the 2nd half. Just kneel it.
