In fact Brady, looked absolutely doomed and defeated throughout most the game, only to be resuscitated by the 4 LA fumbles in the last 30:18 minutes of play.
I get the impression Brady is now mentally in the same position as he was in his last year with the Patriots. Also, I heard on the radio the Bucs have 11 free agents on the team at the end of this year. Last year they brought back pretty much everyone.

KC had one timeout left but that would have been the correct play. Still its inexcusable that their defense gave up 50 yards in 13 seconds.
Not sure how much attention you guys pay to the game, may be sexting at the same time or something. KC had their full complement of 3 timeouts with 13 seconds left. Both KC receivers were tackled in the field of play. Without at least 2 TO's there's no other way to stop the clock in time (barring a penalty).
Agree that Buf should have pooched kicked it to kill 4 or 5 seconds. Poor coaching decision, In the meantime it was the best football game I've ever seen (and I'm a Colts fan).

You're exactly right. Even the commentators noted that Buf should have kicked it along the turf, kind of like they would have during an onsite kick, to try and burn time off the clock.

Sean Peyton stepped down today as HC of the Saints.
Probably a wise decision considering the QB situation is a mess and so is their salary cap situation.
He'll return but where and when?

One down, two more to go.

The Brett Favre 'Just Fuckin Leave Already' Syndrome dictates that Brady and Rodgers have worn out their welcome and have now entered into the NFL Horror Hall of Shame category of, "The QBs Who Will Not Leave!".

As with Favre, everyone has left the party and the hosts have gone to bed, yet Brady and Rodgers are still hanging around for only God knows what.

I agree that Favre was losing it at the end, however Rogers and Brady are still very good QB's.

This season Brady led the league in passing 5,300 yards, led the league in TD (43) vs 12 INTs, and a rating of 101.9 (4th).

Rogers had 4,100 yards (10th), 37 TD's (4th) 4 INT's (best among starters) and a rating of 105.9 (1st).

These are not quarterbacks who have lost their game.

Why would they leave when they are still the best in the game?

I get the feeling that you may have complained about Gordie Howe.

Better to retire while still of sound body and mind.
"Tom Brady Finally Admits He Had Multiple Concussions by Bob Garcia IV on April 8, 2020 Throughout star quarterback Tom Brady ‘s NFL career that spans over two decades, he has avoided the discussion of concussions. It has been a topic Brady has given his two cents on but hasn’t delved into how that has impacted him personally."

***QB TOM BRADY TO RETIRE***

***THE GOAT***
He's clearly had the greatest career of all time, but I believe that there have been QBs who were greater at playing the position.

Regardless, congrats on your accomplishments and longevity. Enjoy your retirement.

I sucked last weekend at 1-3, dropping my record for the playoffs to 6-4.

This week I bet Rams -3.5 and Bengals +7.5.

In my pool I'm in I have three things to pick in each game.

I took the Chiefs straight up. But took the Bengals plus the points. Also took the over at 53.5

In the other game I took the Rams straight up and with the points gave 3.5.

Took the under in that game.

Let's see if the 49ers defense can shut down the Rams offense.

I hope both games go to OT because I love the coin flip and whether the coin flip winner chooses ball or no ball.

I hope wind is not a factor. I hate wind but, of course, it is windy every day in the Big Six.

I don't follow the NFL as closely as I should. Even though they screwed up on the one yard line just before halftime, KC is killing the other team.

Is Mahomes the heir apparent to Brady?

BTW: The NFL end zones look tiny. Well, that's because the NFL end zones are actually tiny.

P.S. The game is getting really interesting. All tied up at 21.

3 fuck-ups by KC.
1) No points on the Bengals' 1 yard line as the 1st half ended
2) Only a FG at end of regulation
3) Interception by the $500mm man
