Generous man of the decade.....Lou Lamoriello.Lou Lamoriello was named GM of the Year ! Dubas should be named GM (generous man) of the decade.
The problem is Dubas gave it to them. Lou never would have ans Nylander would be playing for somebody else. Not with Nylander , and Marner Matthews believing they are above the team demanding huge contracts that hand cuff management
Marner didnt get 1 because it would have cost Montreal 5 1st rd picks. Not many players are worth that. What are you talking about? You are the worse judge of hockey talent (and I never said Marner sucks).
1) Didn't you say that the Leafs were a cinch to make the playoffs? They didn't.
2) Do you agree now that Nylander is a floater (and cupcake and Wilma)?
3) Are you saying that Marner is as good or better than Kane when the facts say otherwise? Kane is a future HOFer and even at the ripe old age of 31 (33, 51, plus 8), he is still better than Marner.
4) If Marner is so good why didn't he get any offer sheets (yeah, yeah, his agent said he did get one from an imaginary team(s)?
(Aho got an offer sheet from the Canadiens.)
This I agree with %100The problem is Dubas gave it to them. Lou never would have ans Nylander would be playing for somebody else.
Zaitsev and Marleau both formally requested to be traded at the end of last season.Generous man of the decade.....Lou Lamoriello.
Kyle Dubas had to trade Nikita Zaitsev and Patrick Marleau heading into this season, due to massive errors in judgment by the GM of the year.
To the best of my recollection, these were the circumstances surrounding the signing of Zaitsev and Marleau:Generous man of the decade.....Lou Lamoriello.
Kyle Dubas had to trade Nikita Zaitsev and Patrick Marleau heading into this season, due to massive errors in judgment by the GM of the year.
But, yeah, LouLam is a wizard.
"Sebastian Aho was tendered a five-year, $42.27 million offer sheet by the Montreal Canadiens on Monday. The offer has an average annual value of $8.454 million.Marner didnt get 1 because it would have cost Montreal 5 1st rd picks.
Which means no GM would trade for Marner either? Dubas will not give him away, even as a salary dump."Sebastian Aho was tendered a five-year, $42.27 million offer sheet by the Montreal Canadiens on Monday. The offer has an average annual value of $8.454 million.
The Carolina Hurricanes have seven days to match or they will receive a first-round pick, second-round pick and third-round pick in the NHL Draft as compensation from the Canadiens."
Only Dubas would offer Marner $11mm. -
Even you must realize by now that you have no credibility with the well respected and knowledgeable members of the Board.Dart on the other gets me shaking my head every single time.
We're under a different climate.
We know now that there'll be a cap freeze for the next several years due to covid and lost revenue.
When Marner signed this was pre covid.
The horizon was for revenue's to go up along with salary cap.
If Marner were to sign today he would not get the same value due strictly to covid affect of cap freeze.
Again Dart is off his rocker ... for a 75 year old
Maybe you think you know more about hockey because as opposed to basketball, in hockey more of the players look like you.Even you must realize by now that you have no credibility with the well respected and knowledgeable members of the Board.
Actually, Shack and 88 make a perfect couple. They have so much in common, including being poor judges of hockey talent and what dollars they are worth. BTW: Why would anyone call himself "superstar"?shack at it again, put a ring on Dartsy's finger already.
