Well, we’ll get’em next year.

Now give us the #1 draft pick tomorrow.

I have now presented two links to articles presenting cogent arguments for eliminating the FG. Could you provide links to articles arguing for the preservation of FG's other than it has been around for over 100 years.
You had to do a search and can only come up with is a single 5 year old article from a British publication dedicated to international news. How about a North American publication that knows football? This is like saying that you believe canada-man's covid hoax websites. That is hardly a majority of fans.

We got shut out. We obviously need more offense.

Has Shanahan seen enough to see the fundamental flaws of the Dubas‘ blueprint for playoffs success ? Against a weak offence team like Columbus, a decent defence should be able to grind it out without giving up 2 goals. We need more grinders than floaters. Ceci and Barrie have to go and Marincin belongs in the AHL. Let’s build around Rielly, Muzzin, Dermott and Sandin. Andersen gave up another softie.

A team top heavy on offensive forwards that can't score is a problem.
Once Muzzin was injured Leafs D looked terrible that's a problem.
Andersen doesn't seem to perform well on elimination games that's a problem.
Nylander doesn't appear to play with any intensity that's a problem.
Leafs 3rd line was the reason they lost to Boston last year. They didn't do much this time around either. That's a problem.

Offensive teams Edm, Pitt, Toronto out to lower seeded team tells you all you need to know.
Leafs need to build their defense.

Trade Tavares for a tough ass that scores 20. Make him captain. Is there one around? These guys won’t do shit with this leadership. Plus some fresh out of university book stat kid as the G.M.?!? (I honestly don’t know anything about him...I’m just venting).

There was an earlier link posted. I could post a thousand links but what's the point, you are resistant to change and think that the FG is great because it has been around for over 100 years and should stay around forever. Of course, you never offered any reason(s) why you think the FG is so great.

My two links gave excellent reasons why the FG should be history.

For the Leafs, the postmortem started an hour ago. No series win since 2004.

"Selected first overall by the Rimouski Océanic in 2017, he was awarded the QMJHL Rookie of the Year award and was named to the First All-Star team in his rookie season. Lafrenière is also the projected first overall pick in the 2020 NHL Entry Draft."

Leafs don't need an Alexis Lafreniere. They need a kick ass defenseman and a goalie who can win the big games.

Dubas needs to fix the D-core, thinking the Leafs could go far with this d-core? SMH.
Dubas doesn't have the slightest clue on how to fix the blue line, he traded away defensemen. He traded away Rosen and Borgman for a cupcake and chicken fat. It was a foregone conclusion.

Six years into the Shaniplan and we’re a non-playoff team tanking with the hope of getting the first draft pick.
The more things change, the more they remain the same.
Six years into the Shapeeroplan...
I detect a pattern in Toronto.

Mark Hunter has kept his options open, he must have known that Dubas would eventually shit the bed.

Well, Kyle Dubas has been the general manager for a season and a bizzaro season.
That's long enough I suppose.
