Depends who is calling the plays and coming up with a game plan in KC.
Eric may be just running practice while Andy Ried does the game plan and calls all plays. Which is what I would expect.
It will be interesting to see what happens. If USC decides to play it smart this time, they should take their time and find the right fit for the long term.

The other issue at USC was that they didn’t have a good Athletic Director when Lynn Swann was there, but he left in 2019 so the new AD had to clean up the mess. Now that the department has a good AD from what I’ve read, they can carry out a head coaching job search.

This Kansas City candidate may be good, but they need to stop and think about what they need for the long term.

I’m pretty confident that USC wouldn’t be in this mess if they’d kept Ed Orgeron who is a fantastic recruiter in addition to being a great coach. They said he didn’t “fit” the USC image because he’s not the country club type. I’m glad Orgeron got a national title at LSU.

I also read that Bob Stoops is under consideration but who knows if he wants to come out of retirement.

Another source mentioned Urban Meyer, but he just started with the Jaguars and probably doesn’t want to make a move.

Hopefully, the new USC AD and the Board will take their time and find someone who can rebuild the program.

Just my thoughts.

The Alabama/Florida game was outstanding, Florida missed a PAT and was forced to go for a 2-point conversion and was unsuccessful, if they hadn't missed the PAT they would have gone for a PAT instead of the 2-pointer and the game would have gone into overtime.

Michigan State is 3-0 and unranked, I wonder how good they really are...

Although it’s early, it’s already an interesting season.

Michigan State is the kind of team that routinely disappoints and then every few years has a fantastic team. Perhaps this will be one of those years but it’s too early to tell.

Either way, I’m just enjoying all of it and it’s great to see people in the stands.

Michigan State is now 4-0 and have an easy game next week at home, they'll be moving up...I thought Notre Dame was in trouble when their 3rd string QB had to go in, they won by 28 points...Arkansas looked way better than Texas A&M, I'm sure those rankings will be switched...Big scare for Oklahoma, last play field goal to beat unranked West Virginia.

Some good games on today's schedule.
#8 Arkansas vs #2 Georgia
#1 Bama vs #12 Ole Miss
#9 Irish vs #7 Cincinnati

Other games #6 Sooners vs Kansas State, #3 Oregon vs Stanford which is always a good conference rivalry.

Bad loss for Oregon, Stanford tied it on the last play in regulation and won in overtime...Alabama and Georgia cruised to easy victories...always good to see Notre Dame lose but that’s just me...Michigan State is up 18 points in the first quarter, they’re gonna go to 5-0 and probably move up from #17.

The Oklahoma-Texas game was one of the greatest games you’ll ever see...down 28-7, Oklahoma put there backup QB in and won a thriller 55-48, I’ve never seen a game with more big game changing plays than this one...

This game was another great one to go along with the earlier game of Oklahoma vs Texas.
I like NCAA Football because it's never over until it's over, lots of big plays, lots of game changing plays, fans are going crazy, teams celebrate every play like it's their biggest moment...provided you get a good close game and not a 56-3 rout.

NFL is manufactured, over-coached...

The Oklahoma comeback vs Texas and the Texas A&M upset of Alabama we’re really exciting games.

Michigan just squeaked by an improving Nebraska team while undefeated Iowa beat an undefeated Penn State team.

So if Iowa runs the table, they can win the Big 10 west and face Michigan in the conference final if the Wolverines can stay undefeated and finally beat OSU, but it’s still too early to tell.

It will be interesting to see what happens going forward and that’s what makes college football so exciting.

How could Iowa lose to Purdue at home after beating Penn State? That's good news for Cincinnati and Oklahoma, they both will be ranked higher, both of them put up 50+ points...Cincinnati will probably move to #2, highest they've ever been...Georgia looks good at #1.

Wasn't a great viewing day, actually fell asleep watching Michigan win...the Ole Miss win wasn't much more entertaining than that...Penn State loses...next week the big game is Michigan-Michigan State.

It will be interesting to see if Georgia can beat Alabama in the SEC title game assuming both win their remaining games.

The Michigan-Michigan State game was outstanding, these teams may swap rankings, 6th and 8th...Spartans RB Walker ran for 5 touchdowns, that’s a Bundy plus one...Spartans were down 16 points and then scored 2 touchdowns and had 2-point conversions on both.

I missed this game. Too busy doing outside work around the house.
