Possibly but when they expanded the menu to offer so much stuff they should have then. You go for lunch and it's easily $10
I am very easy, but alas not sleazy j/kwow - you're easy
no prob ~ I have ranted many times on the subject myself lol
Timmy's and McDonald's have MasterCard Paypass contactless readers to speed up the transaction. Don't know why I have to use debit card as a method of payment.i think the reason why they did not accept debit cards before was because of the prices of their products, their gross profit, and because the line would move faster if people brought in cash instead of entering the data from the debit card, wait for it to go thru, and wait for the customer to punch in his pin. just think about the time lost on that and how that would affect potential revenue.
Leicester66, if you have had such negative experiences at Timmies, why not go to Second Cup, Timothy's or Starbucks, or perhaps one of the smaller independent coffee shops (there is this one place called the Mocca Choco, on the corner of Dundas and McCaul, right across from the AGO that I've been to once, a nice decent place).
Cus I like the steeped tea and the apple fritter!!! And Im never downtown!Leicester66, if you have had such negative experiences at Timmies, why not go to Second Cup, Timothy's or Starbucks, or perhaps one of the smaller independent coffee shops (there is this one place called the Mocca Choco, on the corner of Dundas and McCaul, right across from the AGO that I've been to once, a nice decent place).
Did just that. Some of the coffees at the independents are good but McDonald's is better, both in quality and value for money.People should really consider giving a chance for smaller places & stores!
This used to annoy the hell out of me until I figured out that squeezing the two tab holders towards each will make them hold the tab more firmly. Duh.* then the stupid flip tab on my tea wouldn't stay closed on my top. grrrrrrrrrrr.
Nah I remember using credit card and debit there before thatThis used to annoy the hell out of me until I figured out that squeezing the two tab holders towards each will make them hold the tab more firmly. Duh.
Re: Debit cards -- Remember, it really hasn't been that long that McDonald's was cash only (a couple of years?)
I've yet to find a coffee shop that can compete in the steeped tea ring with Timmies. I have a little independent coffee house below my condo at home and I like their fancy lattes and brownies (mmm brownies).Cus I like the steeped tea and the apple fritter!!! And Im never downtown!

But when I want tea - I go to Timmies (and yes - take the risk of ending up with a coffee - yuck )
And no lineups.McDonald's-Booyah x10. Keep on steamrolling the competitors. Their coffee is that good and it's always a treat when they are free for a couple of weeks.
LOL, except free small McDonald's coffee promotion, like one per customer. And no lineups.
you can upsize when they do the promo...just ask.LOL, except free small McDonald's coffee promotion, like one per customer.

i guess i can safely assume that an anal canker like you would complain that a "third world immigant" gets off the boat to immediately collect welfare..so when they get a job , slime like you still complain..Tim Hortons is garbage I agree. So so coffee. Shit food. Third world immigrants behind the counter who can't speak fucking English when I'm in Toronto at work.
