At McD the Tea is the same price, regardless of size, and for a large you even get a second bag.
IIRC at Timmies they as fuck you for the larger sizes even though it is just a bit of extra hot water.

As for errors, avoid the drive thru always, they always fuck you in the drive thru, didn't you people learn anything from Joe Pesci.

As for starbucks, anyone who goes there is just a fool with no concept of value for money.

Those Banana Chocolate Pie at McDs are pretty good.

Maybe it's changed but it only costs more for a steeped tea if you get larger sizes. Bag type tea was the same price regardless of size.
And I get large teas at McD all the time and I've never had a second bag added.

Another reason why McD is better than Timmies.

Dunno about that since you could make the same case for those who go to Timmy's or McD.

Having said that, many of those who go to Starbucks are at min Snobbish/Snotty IMHO. Also, I notice the ladies who go to Starbucks are in general light in skin color but many of them look like high maintenance, Snotty types that could cost the dudes arms, legs and the bank accounts.

Amen. Better than the blueberries pie, which reminds me of pie stuffed with Smucker's Blueberries Jam or something. Big disappointment for blueberries "slut".

If my memory serves me right, Timmy's ceased to be "Canada's national treasure" when American Wendy's took over in 1995. Timmy's "came back home" only after Nelson Peltz, an American hedge fund manager pressured Wendy's to spin off Timmy's.

* or how about when you ask for food at night and the most common answer is "No, sorry we don't have this soup. We don't have this, we don't have that." Tim Horton's is the most unreliable chain when it comes to food at night time. I've never been a fan of Timmis and never will be cuz there mis-management.

*Sorry cash only. No interac, visa, mastercard for the longest time. Yeah "NOW", they get mastercard.

*Sorry we dont accept 50 -100's or even canadian pennies. Sir, can I give you some american money? I know it's in decline, but it seems more reliable then the canadian dollar currency.

It is interesting that sites such as Wikipedia does not mention Tim Hortons merged with Wendy’s in 1995.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tim_Hortons

So has Tim Hortons lost its Canadian identity because of that??? Not according to this:

http://everything2.com/title/Tim+Hortons

Tim Hortons (no apostrophe, oddly) is a Canadian institution. Sort of a combination Krispy Kreme, Wendy's, and delicatessen. There is really no American restaurant equivalent, because the Tim Hortons experience goes far beyond just the food they serve (and, aside from the doughnuts and coffee, the food is mediocre). The best American analogue would be to describe Tim Hortons as Mom and Apple Pie. It's just very... Canadian…..

In 1995, TDL Group Ltd., the corporate entity responsible for the Tim Hortons name, merged with Wendy's International Inc., which owns the Wendy's chain of fast food restaurants. Though some Canadians perceived this as yet another American buy-out of a piece of Canadiana, Tim Hortons has changed little in this time, aside from doing what it wanted to all along--it began to open stores in the United States. It afforded the company also the opportunity to build "split-stores", half Wendy's and half Tim Hortons. Tim Hortons operates as a separate entity though, so I guess it all sort of works out in the end.

Yes, Wikipedia did mention,

"In 1992, the owner of all Tim Hortons and Wendy's Restaurants in Prince Edward Island, Daniel P. Murphy, decided to open new franchise outlets for both brands in the same building in the town of Montague. Murphy invited Joyce and Wendy's chairman Dave Thomas to the grand opening of the "combo store", where the two executives met for the first time and immediately established a rapport.

Murphy's success with combining coffee and doughnuts with Wendy's fast food led to the August 8, 1995, acquisition of and merger with TDL Group by Wendy's International, Inc., an American company.[24]"

LOL, as mentioned they could keep separate brands or entity all they want but Timmy's was in American ownership until in 2005 when Wendy's was forced to sprint off Timmy's since Nelson Peltz, a hedge fund manager and one of the largest shareholders at Wendy's quickly realized there're NO synergies after the merger for 10 freaking years.

Perhaps Tim Hortons would be better off under American ownership. Then they can still claim the "Canadian national treasure" thing and blame the health problems of eating all those junk food from Tim Hortons on 'greedy American capitalism'. LMAO!!!
