If that's the case you should have rejected your 2nd dose.

Why chance it?

Are you saying the manufacturer is wrong? I should not have had to wait past 21days
None of us should have
Canada is way way behind this is nothing to celebrate

No, I am saying you should have rejected your 2nd does because as you say, "the manufacturer" says a 21 day interval.

So now, by accepting your 2nd dose way, way beyond the manufacturers 'label' you have rejected the manufacturer's label and accepted Justin's vaccination schedule.

The paperwork I signed said I would receive my dose within the manufactures timeframe the Government changed the terms AFTER my shot so I had no choice The liberals were unable to get the doses most Americans who wanted two shots already have them Justin failed

This has been discussed ad nauseum and each time proven that the different time frame has not affected the efficacy of the vaccine.

You cannot honestly say that you had no choice.

If you feel so strongly about the changing of the time frame, you had the choice to not get the second dose. It might be a dangerous situation.

The manufacturer is not "wrong", neither is Canada.
The 21 days (Pfizer) or 28 days (Moderna) is an arbitrary chosen number, mainly targeting a short enough interval so that the study can be completed as soon as possible.
They have not tested for other intervals.

I think when we look back in a few years time, Canada would be vindicated for choosing the 4 months interval as the quickest way to end the third wave.

Durham health is saying if we got our first at a Pharmacy, we have to go there for our second, but I don't think they are giving P or M shots at pharmacies, so how are we being given a choice of the vaccine?
Actually, now most of the pharmacies are giving Pfizer and Moderna. On the contrary, people who wants AstraZeneca as second dose may need to look harder as there are few places to get the AZ vaccines.
Which one did you get for your first dose?

If you got Pfizer and Moderna, you can book second dose at Provincial System, you don't have to go to Pharmacy for second dose.
If you had AZ as your first dose, then you would need to find a Pharmacy or some family doctors who have AZ in stock.

I called the Pharmacy. They have been getting Pfizer for the second dose. They are not upping the 2nd appointment times because they are already at 3 months instead of 4 anyway.

... Justin failed
Yet the world is criticizing us because we've gotten so many shots. A while back I said that by May or June, Canada would have caught up to the US on 1st doses and I'd put good money that by August our 2nd shot vaccination numbers will be better than the US.

But sorry if I interrupted whatever excuse you wanted to use to criticize Trudeau.

How is this a "failure" when we are one of the most vaccinated countries in the world?
And we will catch up to US in no time.
I much prefer Canada's current 63% at least one dose, rather than US's 51%. Do you know Florida (widely touted as one of the first to fully reopen) currently has 322,000 active cases of Covid, and that's 26x that of Canada!
By tomorrow, we will over take Israel as the number 1 in the world for most percentage of population with at least one dose.

Most people who got 1st dose would probably get the second dose too, our vaccination rate would be way superior to US at the end of the day.
As the plummeting daily case, death count, hospitalization and ICU admissions showed that the delayed second dose is the right strategy, especially now most people can get second shot within 2 to 3 months rather than 4 months.

If your first shot is Pfizer, you can book your second dose at the provincial system once you are eligible (you can book now if you are already eligible - e.g. first dose before April 18).
You don't need to get your second dose at the pharmacy.

No, Durham Health is saying you have to book at the pharmacy if you got your first shot from the pharmacy. They are not letting us change the administers of our vaccine.

And from my understanding, Durham Health is giving Moderna

You can ignore what Durham Health said, I can assure you that whoever told you that was wrong - to be honest, as things and eligibility changes by the hour, I won't be surprised that some of their staff do not know all the rules.
You use this site: https://covid-19.ontario.ca/book-vaccine/
And this is what it says on the first page:
When you are eligible for your accelerated second dose, you can return to the same location you got your first dose or book an appointment at another location (even if you already have a second appointment booked).
Once you enter your info at the provincial site above, it would list the clinics that you can go to. As long as they allow you to book, you can get the second dose there.
And you specify which vaccine you got as your first dose, and the provincial site would only list those clinics giving you the same vaccine.

Most of the appointments were snapped up since Monday, so there aren't that many at this point. But listen to the news, they may add thousands of appointments randomly and you may suddenly see a lot of spots not previously available (they just added like 10,000 appointments yesterday).

And the provincial system would allow you to get vaccine at other regions and not restricted to Durham Region, for example, you can book at Scarborough Town Centre, or Metro Convention Center if you don't mind traveling a bit for an earlier dose.
Just scroll down to the bottom and click on "Load More" to see more locations. They won't let you book that particular site if they don't allow it.
