Wouldn't this actually make companies racist and anti-LGBTQ+ for hiring people based on the colour of their skin and portraying the stereotypes of gay/trans people?
i.e. "we better find a black person to portray one of our product users or people will think we're racist"...is that not in itself racist?
or
i.e. hey Mr. Actor, we need someone with your skin colour and that's the primary reason we are hiring you over someone else.
Unlike a role in a movie where a character's race could be integral to the part based on the story,...commercials not so much.
