Let's all be honest, looking at where the series is now, Boston could've already been moving on. Montreal only dominated in the first win, in the second one the refs gave them the game with all the late penalties(including O/T) against Boston, and in the third they luckily won 1-0.
So since the first game Boston has been more dominant. JMHO

Game #7 … Here We Come

Tonight's 3rd period was entertaining but very frustrating.

Every good team, like the Habs, meets a strong adversary along the way. It just so happens, surprisingly, we are facing ours now in the first round. Claude Julien has done a great job with his Boston Bruins these past two weeks. Julien and the Bruins have shown good character.

It all comes down to Game #7.

I just got my tickets to that game and I'll be at the Bell Centre this Monday night.

I think Carey Price should take a visit to Hamiton and visit one of his friendly SP's before the game 7:p

I would love to see the Bruins win this for Claude Julien! Habs & Devils both out in first round!

Also great to see Jose Theodore playing so well for Colorado.

Will history repeat itself?

For the first time in 15 years, nos Canadiens will host a 7th and deciding game on home ice. That was the year the Habs won the Stanley Cup.

The Bruins have never won a Game 7 on enemy ice. The Bruins are "0-3" on the road, including their infamous "Too Many Men" loss in Montréal in the spring of 1979.

Nos Canadiens will once again teach the Bruins a history lesson in Montréal tomorrow night.

Mr. Les Habs is getting cocky again. I hope his team shows up for his sake.

I just arrived in Montréal this afternoon for tomorrow's game … what a great hockey city.

Despite the series being tied 3 games to 3, people are feeling good and confident that our Habs will win tomorrow.

We shall see ... à demain soir !!!

What!?!? Please check your info before posting. If I recall, the HABS never hosted a game 7 in 1993. In fact they didn't even play a game 7. That was the year when Quebec scored twice while their Goalie was pulled and won in overtime in game 1 of the quarter finals. They came to Montreal leading 2 games to none. The HABS won the next 11(a record shared with the Penguins I believe) to get to the Stanley cup final where they defeated the Kings and Gretsky in 5. The HABS lost the first game against the Kings and were trailing 2-0 late in the third period in the second game. That's when Jacque Demers had Marty Mcsorley's stick measured and Marty got penalized for using an illegal stick. We pulled our goalie and scored twice and won in overtime. That's the year when the habs also set the record for most consecutive OT victories in the playoffs. That was also the year where the Penguins and Lemieux were the heavily favourites to win the cup. They eventually lost in ot in 7.

I too hope the Bruins come back and beat the Habs on home ice.
I too have several reasons.

- the singing of Ole and/or NA NA NA NA as early as the first period.
- the nonstop comparison of Carey Price to Patrick Roy and Ken Dryden
- the simply obnoxious Habs fans that still think they have a "birthright" to the Cup

Nothing would make me happier than to see the Habs completely blow this series at home in front of their fans.

Especially against the Bruins, who the Habs have owned forever.

Go Bruins!

This is day 4 of a huge weekend in Boston and it would be nice to cap it off with a win for the B's tonight. So far Sox 3-0, playing an early one today on Patriots day to go for a sweep. Boston Marathon, Celtics win last night, B's big win Saturday. Awesome weekend. If Sox win today, if some local jumps off the subway to cross the finish line and B's win, it will go down as one of the best sports wekends in Boston.

Now, for the game tonight. It is a pretty tall order for B's to have to win 3 in a row, 2 being in enemy territory. While I strongly believe B's have outplayed Montreal and coud have had this series done by now, I am not sure how much longer they can keep this up. They have exceeded expectations by far. Montreal has a far better team, talent-wise and I think they are ready to break out. The home crowd and the 21,000 referees will give them a big advantage and I can see B's losing this one. Hope I am wrong, but there is just something about Montreal and Boston in the play-offs that make me think that way. Sort of like Yankees-Red Sox in past years. B's are due to pull one of the hat, but until they do, I will be cautiously optomistic.

Go B's.........
